You're My Hero

Hmmm, struggled with this one. For the Hambo Hoedown Challenge "I Need A Hero", I follwed the sketch provided and came up with this. I added Glassy Effects on the beak, feathers and feet and added my touch by using wire and jewels for the head feathers.

Freeze Frame

The temperature keeps getting lower and lower and add in the windchill factor ... brrr, it's too darn cold! Although this Miller Digi from Simply Betty is from the Valentine collection, it works well here on my frosty card! Mom's don't have time to be sick

This I can soooo relate to! I was off "recovering" but having a housefull of boys, I didn't find time for the recovery part ... I had to find time for the laundry, lunches, dinners, homework, pets ...heaven forbid I should lay on the couch and rest...besides, it was taken up by my husband and his "man cold!" - I had to go back to work to get some R & R!
