Little Halloween Witch

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is "Fall is in the Air".  Not sure about your neck of the woods but here in British Columbia our weather has definitely changed.  I love the clean, crisp weather (except the rain) and the beautiful Autumn colors all around.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Star Stampz and the lucky winner will receive 3 images of their choice!

I chose to work with Little Halloween Witch for this challenge as not only is Autumn here, Hallowe'en is quick on her heels.

I colored this darling image with Copic markers then used Wink of Stella on the little ghosty.  The Boo background paper is digital, it's called Halloween by Shery K Designs and is free on her website.  The green border is

Very Merry Reindeer

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "Rudolph & Friends".

I didn't intend on making two cards however I felt something was missing on my first attempt so I decided to make another with patterned paper and a few more deer.

The stamp set is called Reindeer and a Tree by Gerda Steiner Designs and I also purchased the matching dies which makes things so much easier than fussy cutting around these little cuties!

I used Copic markers, added some accents with a white gel pen and used glossy accents on various parts for some dimension.  The words are from the Christmas Reverse Sentiment Strips available at Simon Says Stamp.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Cheers!

Are you ready for a Sketch challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls?!  Time to get your creative juices flowing because we want to see your interpretations of our sketch!

Our fabulous sponsor is SheepSki Designs and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice.

This adorable image is Acorn Ale, now who doesn't love gnomes and beer?!

I created somewhat of a scene with my cloud stencil then used a sponge dabber to create the ground.  The two "thirsty" gnomes were colored with Copic markers.  For the sketch layout I used papers from the Fall Fling Collection by Lawn Fawn

I hope you have as much fun with your creations as I did with mine and I look forward to seeing your interpretations!

Hello Friend

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Wings & Things / Furry Friends.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Fabrika Fantasy and the lucky winner will receive 3 digital images of their choice!

I chose to work with At Home for this challenge since it reminded me of my sister and her new Golden Retriever puppy, Barley.  I think Barley is bigger than she is!

I colored the image with Copic markers and decided to frame the image using my Fab Frames dies by paper Smooches and the paper from Summer Fresh collection by Simple Stories.  I added some paper flowers and a button to finish off the card.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles and the lucky winner will receive 3 digital images of their choice!

This image is Blossoming Winnie and now that our weather has started to change, I decided to color her in rich Autumn colors.  I used Copic markers to color then added some glossy accents to the flowers, added a paper leaf as an accent, along with gold sequins and ribbon.  The background papers are from the Forever Fall collection by Bo Bunny and both papers have leaf patterns in the beautiful Autumn colors.

Gettin' ready for Christmas

Welcome back for a new challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!  This month we have a sketch challenge and I'm so looking forward to seeing your interpretations!

I purchased this stamp and die set at a local thrift store, I'm not sure what it's called but it's so much fun to play with.

I used a hillside banner die as a template to draw the clothesline then I started stamping.  For Santa, I stamped him on a separate page and used the coordinating die-cut.  I colored the images with Copic markers then added pop-dots to Santa.

The black embossed background was made by using the Christmas Knit Sweater embossing folder from Stampin' Up! To finish it off I sprayed some shimmer and pewter spritz all over.

Stay Cozy

Anything but a Card is our theme for our new challenge at Winter Wonderland and our fabulous sponsor is Stampers Delight!

This image is Chibi Get Well Girl,  I figured one way to keep those winter blues away is to stay nice and cozy, inside and out so I decided to create a Teabag Holder.

I cut a piece of red cardstock measuring 3.5" x 7.5" and scored at 3.5" and 4" then cut background paper to fit.  After using Copic markers to color the image I used circle/scallop diecuts for the image and border.  I attached ribbon to the front and back and made it long enough to tie the ends together.

On the inside I stamped the Stay Cozy sentiment by Penny Black then added a border with black pen.  I used thin double-sided tape to attach the diaganal cut background paper along the edges and slipped the teabag inside.

You Make Me Happy

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is "For the Kids".

Our sponsor for this challenge is our very own Kelly and the lucky winner will receive a surprise package from Close to My Heart, valued at $25!

I chose to work with Rainbow is my Favorite Color stamp set.  I purcahsed this kit from Simon Says Stamp when it was the Stamp of the Month and it came with matching dies, paper, inks, and embellies.

Inspiration for this card came from Simon's design team.  I used my no-name brand slimline card template then started stamping and coloring with Copic markers.  The clouds were attached to the card with pop-dots for some dimension.

As with most of us, it has been a while since we've been able to see family and friends so I made this card for my niece.  We used to have girl sleepovers but haven't had a chance to do that in almost 2 years and I really miss her.

Make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!

Thanks for stopping by!
