Tic Tac Toe Challenge at Creative Knockouts

Tic-Tac-Toe is the name of our new challenge at Creative Knockouts!  This should get your creative juices flowing!  Using the board below, you get to choose a straight line, diagonal like or even the whole thing!

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Jan's Digi Stamps!  The image and the sentiment "A big birthday hug for you" used inside is from the Birthday Buddies collection.

I colored the image with Copics then fussy cut the image.  I opted for a straight line of Embossing, Image and Sentiment and got to work on the layout.  Of course, which seems quite common for me, I get creating and forget about the Tic-Tac-Toe ... this time I forgot about embossing.  So, that's where the embossed circles come in!  I used my polka dot embossing folder and circle punches then attached them to the card - TIC-TAC-TOE!

Now strap on those creative caps and start playing the game!

All is Calm, All is Bright

Christmas with the Cuties has a new challenge!  Our theme is "Christmas Animals" and remember, your creation must be cute!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Di's Digi Stamps and I have used a freebie stamp that is available at Kit and Clowder on Facebook, it's called Winter Night.

I colored the image using Copic markers then fussy cut it out.  I taped metal dies on a white piece of cardstock and used Salty Ocean and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks to make the background.  I spritzed with water and shimmer spray.  I cut out the star using my a die cut on silver glitter cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Typewriter Holiday Sentiments collection by Memory Box (I think it has been discontinued).

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the cute creations from our talented design team!

Furry Friends at Creative Knockouts

Summer has arrived and so has a new challenge at Creative Knockouts

Our theme for this challenge is Furry Friends and we have a fun and fab sponsor, The Paper Shelter who is generously donating 3 images to the winner!

This cute and furry image is The Most Adorable Raccoons.  I think these animals are so darn cute (in the image and in person).  I colored them up with Copics then used the Fab Frame die from Paper Smooches.

Okay, time for my raccoon story - one of our cats likes to jump from the tree onto the roof and scratch at our bedroom window when she's left out at night.  Since my hubby wears earplugs, I'm always the one to get up and open the window to let her in.  One night there is scratching at the window so I get up thinking it's our cat ... as I'm walking to the window I'm thinking that the shadow looks a bit odd and it's only when we're face to face I realize it's our resident raccoon.  Freaked me out, so much so my hubby jumps up not sure what's going on - it was very funny actually.  He shooed the raccoon off and he hasn't been back since!

I hope you have fun with our new challenge and can't wait to see your furry friends!

Our FAB sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles and they have generously donated a digi voucher to spend in their store!

I love the image, this is Winnie Sunshine Delights.   I colored Winnie with Copic markers then fussy cut her out.  The papers are from the Anything Goes collection by Echo Paper and I used Hillside Border die cuts by Lawn Fawn.  And of course, my 3 of a Kind are the three pieces of sequins, attached with glossy accents to give a bit more bling.

Those Christmas Characters

Time for our July Challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!  Our theme this month is "Christmas  Characters".

I fell in love with this image when I came across Helen's card at Helen's Craft Haven.

This stamp is "Snowman Family" by Woodware and I used pencils to color the image.  I'm not familiar with using pencils but I think it turned out okay.  This image just makes me smile and I hope it does the same to you!

Hip to be Square

Challenge time at Winter Wonderland!  Our challenge theme this month is "Hip to be Square" so pull out that paper cutter and start making those square cards!

Of fab sponsor for this challenge is Fred She Said and the adorable image below is Dancing Penguin

What I love about this image is it's simple, easy to color and great for those times you need a quick card.

I used Distress Oxide Inks to create the background and matched it up with some purple card stock.  I colored the image with Copic markers and used pop dots on the purple square as well as the penguin, added some ribbon, sequins and I'm done!

I hope you have as much fun with your creation as I did with mine!

Sew it up

Time to pull out that sewing machine and start stitching! Well, if you don't have a machine, faux stitching will be just fine!  Yes, it's challenge time at Creative Knockouts and you guess it, "Sew it Up" is our theme.

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Sentiments and this super cute image is Little Friends.

I colored this adorable image with Copic markers then got to stichin'.  Let me start by saying zig zag and circles don't mix ... live and learn!  The papers are from the Fine and Dandy Collection by Echo Park.

Thanks for popping in and I look forward to seeing your creations!
