Bunny Zoe's Crafts

This was my first attempt at a shadow box and all in all, it went fairly well. I colored "Apple Basket" by Daisy Doodles with my Copics then cut out a circle in the middle using my Circle Patterns from Creative Memories. To frame the circle I used Lacey Circle Spellbinder Nestabilities.

For some finishing touches I added some silk flowers, button and bakers twine. The sentiment was a freebie from Raindrop Echo Designs.

To get your crafty mojo going, head on over to Stamptacular to check out the FAB creations by our Design Team.

Aud Sentiments - Make us Laugh Challenge

It's challenge time over at Aud Sentiments and we're asking you to make Make Us Laugh! This challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Digi Stamps. Jodie is giving the winner 7 digis of their choice, WOW!
For this challenge, I wanted to use Gus Golf. What's golfing without the golf green!? I made an Easel card and used a grass tile that I found at the local dollar store as the background.

I also found some golf tees at the dollar store and colored them up with my Copics. Added some ribbon and of course glossy accents and there you have it.

Now it's your turn. Make sure you check out the amazing projects our Design Team has created for your inspiration. Happy Crafting!

Oh Crap! Dude Time Doodles Blog Hop

Woo hoo, it's time to celebrate another creative spurt from our Designers! Dude Time Doodles is sponsoring a Blog Hop to introduce you to the new images they have created - yehaw!
If you’ve arrived here from Anne, you’re on the right track. Although, there really is no wrong route, just keep hopping until you’ve seen all the wonderful creations from the FAB Dudette Design Team. Make sure you leave some love cause one of us is the MYSTERY HOSTESS! That’s right, one lucky person will win one of the new images just for commenting!

This here little lady is "Lady Stinker" by our Crazy Marlooney. I was sitting, not unlike Lady Stinker here, trying to figure out what kinda sentiment I was gonna use. Then I remembered my collection of sentiments by Marlooney that she kindly offered as a freebie on her blog (although I did add the star).
PERFECTO!
I used an old sketch from Sketch Saturday but it was missing something. So, I sat down again (great thinking spot it is) and reached for some TP, AHHA, perfect embellishment right at my fingertips!

Now head on over to Lynn's FAB creation! Happy Crafting!

Michelle - that's me!

This week I tried a pop-up card, I have to say it was fun to create.
I colored Bat House by Limited Runs with my Copics and added some sparkles to the edges of the cupcake and the bat's eyelids and of course, glossy accents to the little ghosty. I used a purple ribbon and added a Boo charm from the Charm Barn as my sentiment.
Now for the inside ... the spiders are actually glow in the dark and I pierced the butt to push a needle and thread through so I could suspend the spiders to the top of the pop up. Now it's your turn! Make sure you head over to see the very creative projects from the Stamptacular Design Team then get to work on your creations!

Gingerloft Challenge "Halloween or Fall"
Sentimental Sundays "Halloween"

Mirror, Mirror

Over at Squigglefly, their challenge is "Face your Fears". Yeah, I'm afraid of spiders, mice, things that go bump in the night but truthfully, I fear sagging, wrinkles and old age more!
Not long ago, I was in a quaint little store and came across a sign that said "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, what the heck happened?". Of course, I bought it right away!

I thought this image "Oh no she didn't" by Chesney Young worked perfectly with the sentiment. The flower embellie is actually a mirror, couldn't pass up attaching it to the card!
For Tuesday Trio's challenge, I followed their sketch (below) and used the following:
  • Something Old - as in "had it for along time" - The papers I used (stretching, I know)
  • Something New - The mirror
  • Something Borrowed - The Sentiment (am I stretching that one?!)
  • Something Blue - Eyes
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
Squigglefly "Face your Fears"
Riley and Co. "Orange and Black"
Tuesday Trio "Sketch / Something Old, New, Borrowed, Blue"

Operation Write Home Blog Hop

Color Inspiration Challenge

It's inspiration challenge time over at Dude Time Doodles and this month, our inspiration is "Pink, Black & White".

All you have to do is use the photo inspiration above to create a masculine themed card - you are not required to use BDD images although it would make us really happy if you did! Be sure to link your creation using Mr. Linky over at Dude Time Doodles.

It's time to give Breast Cancer a karate chop and I thought Benny Hanna was just the one to spread the word! This photo doesn't do justice to the paper I used but believe me, it's beautiful in all it's different shades of pink. I used an embossing folder on the grey paper to add some texture, along with baker's twine and added a fishy charm cause the card needed something.
As you can see, I stuck with the same design on the inside as well and Best Fishes was the best I could come up with. I'm sure some of you have some very witty sentiments that would work better!
The rest of the Dudettes have some great creations to show off, so make sure you check them out and leave them some love.
Whatcha waiting for, get crafting!!
