Glad Tidings at FQCCC!

This challenge blog is all about celebrating the cozy, rustic charm of country life during the holidays — think barns, wildlife, snow-covered fields, and all things outdoorsy and festive!

Each challenge is Anything Goes, as long as it captures that country Christmas feel.

We are a just-for-fun challenge, but you could earn our Grand Champion Winner Badge (with a Guest DT invite) or proudly display our Wintery Top 3 Badge on your blog or socials.

Back to School Apples at FQGG Challenge!

It’s time for a new challenge over at the FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenge!

This fun and creative challenge blog is all about using grocery-themed items in your projects — think produce, pantry staples, baked goods, or anything you’d find at your local market!

The theme for our current challenge is — as always — Anything Food Goes! That means you have the freedom to create with any food-inspired images, elements, or designs your crafty heart desires.

As it's Back to School time for many kids, I decided to make some teacher cards featuring Apples!

My first set of cards was created using Appreciate You stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.  The apples were colored with Copic markers and put together using tags, designer papers, ribbon and bakers twine.

This next card was created in Cricut Design Space using cardstock and designer paper. The sentiment was computer generated using KG Primary Penmanship Lined font.

Lastly, this set of cards was created using die cuts found in my stash.

Up Up and Away at Creative Knockouts

We're back with a brand-new challenge at Creative Knockouts!

This time, the theme Anything Goes, so grab your crafty supplies and join the fun!

Our amazing sponsor for this challenge is Star Stampz, and they're offering a fantastic prize - so don't miss your chance to play along!

I created my card using the Ballons and Ice Cream image. To coordinate, I pulled colors from the Hello Happiness designer papers by Taylored Expressions and used matching Copic markers to color the image. Once the coloring was complete, I layered the designer papers with coordinating cardstock to build the card base and background. For the sentiment, I added a simple die-cut “hi” from the A2 Thin Frame Dies set by Kristina Werner.

Merry Berry Christmas at FQCCC!

FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenge has a brand-new challenge for you to join!

I created a card featuring holly branches using images from Holly Berries set by Hero Arts. After stamping the image and sentiment onto kraft cardstock, I pulled out my Prismacolor pencils and started coloring. I'm definitely not the strongest with pencils but every once in a while, I have to try.

I can’t wait see what you create — and don’t forget to check out the blog for beautiful inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!

Grateful Harvest at Christmas [or not] BINGO Challenges

Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenges has a brand-new challenge ready for you!

Each challenge, CBC features a fresh Bingo card filled with fun and creative prompts - and while it's not your typical game of BINGO, the rules are simple:

Choose at least three items from ONE column and include them in your project.

This is a just-for-fun challenge, but it's a great way to get inspired - and you could earn a Winner or Top Pick Badge to proudly display on your bog or socials!

For my project, I picked the "O" column, which includes:

  • Harvest - Copper- Pocket- Sequins

I had so much fun working with these elements - they really pushed my creativity!

Autumn Inlay Die by Concord & 9th was used to create my card. Not gonna lie, using this die is a bit tedious but the options are endless. After putting the background together, I created a vellum pocket and stamed the inside card with "I'm lucky to have a friend like you" stamped and heat embossed with Tickle embossing power by WOW!.  So grateful sentiment is from More to Say dies also by Concord & 9th.

Visit the Christmas [or not] BINGO Challenges blog to check out the full BINGO card and get inspired by the Design Team's creations. Then it's your turn - we can't wait to see what you make!

Happy crafting!

The theme for our current challenge is — as always — Anything Food Goes! That means you have the freedom to create with any food-inspired images, elements, or designs your crafty heart desires.

For my project, I created two cards using Tutti Frutti stamps set by Taylored Expressions. I used Copic markers to color the images then went to work assembling the card, using vellum to create the tags.

The smile sentiment was created using my hot foil machine with Fancy Script Words by Pink Fresh Studio.

The hello sentiment was created using Sunny Smiles stamps set by Simon Says Stamp. Have a berry special day is from the Tutti Frutti stamp set.

Flower Hedgehog

We’re back with a brand-new challenge at Creative Knockouts — and this one’s all about your Fave Embellie!

Whether it’s buttons, bling, brads, or bows — we want to see how you use your favorite embellishments to bring your crafty creations to life. So, grab your supplies and let the creativity flow!

Our fabulous sponsor this round is All Dressed Up, generously offering up an awesome prize — you won’t want to miss the chance to win!

This adorable creature is Hedgehog Flower - how sweet is that image?

I colored the image using Copic markers and framed it with gold cardstock for a touch of shine. This was my first time creating a frame with acetate, and while there were a few hiccups along the way, I’m excited to try it again with smoother results next time!

For my fave embellie, I went with paper flowers — they add such a soft, dimensional touch and tie in perfectly with the floral theme.

Cutting Down the Christmas Tree at FQ Country Christmas Challenge

I created a card featuring a die-cut truck fitted with a couple of Christmas trees.  I used white glitter paper to create the trees from Bottle Brush Trees dies by Spellbinders (unfortunately it looks like the tree dies are no longer available however this one is similar). The final touch was Sparkle Sheer Shimmer spray over the entire card.
