Hello one and all! Time for a new challenge at Creative Knockouts! This go-around we have a TIC-TAC-TOE Challenge for you.
Our fabulous sponsor is Jodie from Bugaboo Digi Stamps and the lucky winner will receive two digi images from her store!
Raising two boys meant our house was full of trucks ranging in all shapes and sizes. I actually took my youngest to a Monster Truck show so when I saw this image Monster Truck I knew I had to have it!
Welcome! Today starts a new challenge at Christmas with the Cuties! Our theme for this challenge is Stocking Fillers, so we want to see you use Stockings on your card!
Our Sponsor for this challenge is My Besties and one lucky winner will receive three digital images from their fabulous shop, thank you Sherri!
For my card I used Steampunk Christmas Sock. I colored the image with Copic markers and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut around the image. It's hard to see in the picture but I added some gold cord pieces to the back of the stocking before adding pop-dots to the back. The paper is from the Nutcracker Sweet Collection by Graphic 45. For the sentiment I pulled out my ancient Dymo Labeler and added Ho Ho Ho.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!
Welcome to our new challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls! As the title indicates, our theme this month is a BINGO Challenge.
Our sponsor this month is De Egel and they have graciously provided a wonderful prize for the winner of this challenge, thank you!!
Happy April! The birds are singing, weather is getting warmer and the flowers are popping! Spring is such a magical time and a time for new beginnings.
Creative Knockouts has a new challenge starting with a fabulous sponsor All Dressed Up. Their images are magical and whimsical and I enjoyed playing with Magical Woodland!
Our theme for this challenge is "Add a Sentiment" and I finally did it right the first time and remembered the theme before I got into creating!
I colored this adorable image with Copic markers and added a Touch of Stella to the wings, mushrooms and flowers. I wasn't sure about the layout and was looking through my dies and came across "Tagged" by Penny Black. I used the large tag die on the image then created a topper out of background paper with the same die and finished off the bottom with zig zag border.
The background papers are from the Tulla and Norbert Collection by PhotoPlay as well as the sentiment banner that I fussy cut. Added some sequins, bakers twine and ta-da, card is finished!
I truly appreciate you stopping by and I hope to see your creation linked up here! Enjoy your day!
Welcome to a new challenge over at Creatalicious Challenges! Our theme for this challenge is, as always ATG and we've added an optional twist - Slimline.
Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios. I love the whimsical images and they are so fun to work with, thank you Rachelle!
The image I used for my Slimline card is Animal Parade. Now seriously, how can you not be happy when you see animals on parade?!
I was trying to decide whether or not to make a New Baby card or Birthday Card so I went searching through my stamps to find what would work best. I decided on a sentiment from the "A Little Everything" (D1420) by Close to My Heart.
To make the card gender neutral I decided on the orange background papers from the Freestyle Collection by Teresa Collins. I have had this paper for years in my stash and have vowed to start using my stash over purchasing new paper. The slimline dies I used are a no-name brand and they came with a variety of layers, for this card I used three of those layers. The top right corner was looking pretty bare so I added some colorful buttons and bakers twine.
Our Design Team has created some adorable cards, I hope you have a chance to hop over and leave them some love! Enjoy your day!
How the heck does one create a card with no stamping??? I pondered this for sometime thinking, it's just darn impossible and who thought of this theme anyways??
Well, like it or not, that is our theme this month at Christmas Craft Creations - No Stamping!
Talk about tunnel vision. Once I got over my confusion I realized I have made many cards over the years without stamping, duh, what was I thinking?!
Happy April Fool's Day however, our new challenge at Creative Knockouts is no joke!
Our theme for this challenge is Sparkle & Shine and our fabulous sponsor is Star Stampz and they are generously donating 3 images to the lucky winner!
Happy April Fool's Day although it's no joke that Winter Wonderland has a new challenge!
I was the lucky one who picked the theme this month and considering all the craziness going on in the world today, I chose "Peace on Earth".
Our sponsor for this challenge is SheepSki Designs and they have a special prize for the winner of this challenge, thank you to the talented Andrea!
This image is Winter Deer, the image only has 2 trees however for my cards I added a few extras. After I printed the image on white cardstock I went to work on the background using Distress Inks. Once I had the combos right it was still missing something.
After many failed attempts using stickles, heat & stick powder with glitter, sparkle embossing powder and a variety of attempts using the inks it just didn't look right until I pulled out Texture Paste by Ranger that I've had for over a year but have never tried. So I went to work on my failed attempts to see what I could do with the paste.
I pulled out my Snow Flurry stencil by Taylored Expressions and placed it over the image and thought it was just the snow that needed texture and dimension so I covered up those small little holes that covered the trees and deer. Spread the paste over the open holes and pulled the stencil off to discover it looked crappy so that was the end of Day 1.
Day 2 - I tried again spreading the paste over the entire card - finally, success! On the green card I sprinkled some glitter over the paste while it was still wet and wish I would have done that on both cards but enough was enough, this had to end!
Sorry for all the rambling and I appreciate you stopping by to take a peek and I hope you have a chance to join us at Winter Wonderland!
