Seasons Tweetings

Welcome to our December Challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls!   Our sponsor for this challenge is De Egel and the lucky winner will receive a special prize!

For this challenge I pulled out a colored image from Wink Wink called Seasons Tweetings and I used digital papers and elements from the I Love Snow kit.

These colored elements are perfect to work with when you don't have a lot of time to color your own images and find matching papers!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creations!

Happy Holidays!

Fa La La La La La La!

It's time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is "Tis the Season".

Our amazing sponsor is The Paper Shelter  and the lucky winner will receive 3 images of their choice! The thing I love most about using TPS images are they come not only in black and white but color too!

When you need to make a quick card, grab those color images and start playing which is what I did for my card.  This image is from the Fa La La.... set and the papers are from the Lil Man collection by Cosmo Cricket that I purchased from Snap Click, the snowflake brands are by Kate Hadfield Designs and the sentiment was computer generated.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!

Christmas Gnome Stack

GNOMES is the theme for our December challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until January 10th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

The image is Christmas Gnome Stack by Conie Fong Art.  I printed the image on copic paper then went to work coloring. After coloring I put it through my Silhouette Cameo and was very disappointed when the blade didn't cut through the paper so I ended up fussy cutting (which I really don't like doing!) to salvage the images.

I pulled out my brand new Stacked Merry Die-namics by MFT and cut three layers of white and one layer of contrasting color then glued them all together to create a stack,  After choosing the background papers, I glued the die-cuts into position, applied foam tape to the back of the image and placed it next to the sentiment.  To finish it off, a button and some baker's twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Merry Snail

This image is Holiday Snail by Gerda Steiner Designs.  I think this is my second time trying my hand at an interactive card.  It always takes me so long to figure things out so I hope my second card will go much faster!

I used the Movin' & Groovin' Slimline die set by MFT although I don't see this set on their website, it is available at Simon Says Stamp.  I followed a tutorial on MFT YouTube that was quite helpful.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Christmas Fox

It's time for another fun & fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  The theme for this challenge is Winter Wonderland and our sponsor for this challenge is Lee Holland Designs!

This adorable image is Fox with Christmas Presents and I used Copic markers to color the image. Once the coloring was complete I added some glossy accents and Nuvo glitter drops for dimension.
