This ol' Truck

It's challenge time again at Digi Haven!  Our theme for this challenge is "Something Old" and our sponsor is Floppy Latte.  The winner will receive a $6 gift certificate to their store!

For my card I used Toy Truck by Floppe Latte. This image reminds me of an old photo of my dad when he was a boy, riding in his dad's truck.  I love that photo!

I added some distressing ink around the image and paper edges, string from my stash, I used my tag punch by Creative Memories and the "just 4 you" is by Stampin Up!

Now it's your turn to show us your "something old", I can hardly wait to see what you create!

Ain't no Sissified Birthday

It's time for a new challenge at Cards for Men!  Our theme for this challenge is Funny Birthday.  You have until September 2nd to link up your funny male creation!

Our sponsor for this challenge is QKR Stampede and the winner will receive 5 digi stamps of choice!

I created this card using Cowboy by QKR Stampede.  The expression alone on his face cracks me up.  I colored him up with my Copic Markers and used papers from the Notes to Self Collection by Echo Park Paper. I distressed the edges of the paper with Frayed Burlap then added a red brad and some string to add a "western" flavor.

The sentiment is computer generated ... I came across this saying on-line and knew I had to use it for this card!

Do you have a sense of humor? Are you looking for a cute stamp? Then, we are the company for you! QKR Stampede is the somewhat cute somewhat quirky rubber and digital stamp company. We showcase the artwork of Ken Herrod, who had a unique, somewhat quirky style with lots of humor and character. You are sure to get a chuckle out of our stamps! We have been offering our unique stamps and supplies to the craft industry for over 15 years. At QKR Stampede our images are available as un-mounted, natural red rubber stamps OR as digital stamps! If QKR Stampede Stamps aren't exactly what you are looking for, don’t miss out on the sister companies: Eureka Stamps, Biblical Impressions Rubber Stamps, or the newest addition; Alluring Impressions.

Sea Life is the new theme at Digi Haven!  Time to sink to the bottom of the ocean floor to see what kind of life lurks there!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Digistamps4Joy and the winner will receive FIVE images from their store!

I created this card using Got Ya! by Digistamps4Joy.  My youngest son loves sharks and can tell you what type of sharks can be found where so I thought this would be perfect for him.

I used my copic markers to color him up then did a bit of distressing around the edges.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I used my Die-namics Fishtail Flags and the papers are from the Detour Collection by Bo Bunny.

Now it's your turn to start floating the surface to see what you can find down under!  Make sure you link your creation up here at Digi Haven!
