Believe in the Magic of Christmas

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme as always is Anything Goes with an optional theme of "Take a trip down Candy Cane Lane" - you have a choice to add in a candy cane or two or use red and white and don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute image.

We have moved to a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along so you have a chance to proudly display our Winners Badge or Top 3 Badge.

This image is called Waiting on Santa by Little Loves in all of Us which unfortunately is no longer on Etsy.

I colored the image with Copic markers then went thru with a white gel pen to finish it off.  I decided to make a mini-slimline card so I could use a larger image.  The background paper is from the Christmas Cheer Collection by Bella Blvd. Studio.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut with Swallowtail Tag dies by Spellbinders.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Challenges:
CCAYR - Tree and/or Gifts (May) .
Christmas Kickstart - Mini Slimline #62 (May) .

Candy Canes

This month at Winter Wonderland our challenge theme is Candy Canes an/or For a Child.

Without a sponsor for this challenge, we are playing just for fun and I hope you join us - it will be another Christmas card for your stash!

This digital image is one I've had for a long time and unfortunately Fresh Brewed Designs is no longer in business.

I decided on making a slimline card so I sized the image a bit larger than I normally would. I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the image then started coloring with Copics.  After the coloring I added White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops to the hat and glossy accents on the frosting, candy canes and cookies.

The background papers are from my stash so I'm not sure where it's from.  The sentiment is from the Snow Globe Sentiments collection by MFT.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas cards and for some extra inspiration, make sure you check out our Design Team's creations.

Christmas in the Snow

Challenge time at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "Christmas in the Snow", in other words, add snow or snowman(men) to your creation and remember, it must be cute!!

Our fun and fabulous sponsor is Bugaboo and they have a special prize for the winner of this challenge.

Bugaboo has so many images to choose from, it was difficult to make a decision.  I finally decided on Candy Cane Snowman. I colored the image with Copic markers then added stickles to the snow drifts and glossy accents to various parts of the image for added dimension.

I hope you have fun with the challenge and if you haven't started on your Christmas cards, this is the perfect challenge to get you started.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your day!
