The digi image below is Daphne Sitting on a Cloud by Amanda Jayne Designs. I started by coloring the image with Copic markers then masking it off and used a blending brush with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink. Before removing the masking I sprayed with a bit of water and let it dry then used Nested Round Tags die cut by Maker's Movement.

This darling image is Duckling March and I decided to try to create a bit of a scene behind all that cuteness. I used Copic markers to color the image and decided to use oval die cuts and as you can see, it's pretty plain and simple. I may just have to go back an add a bit of something ...

A new month brings a new Layout over at Kate Hadfield Designs. While I haven't quite gotten into digital scrapbooking, I like to use the layouts in my card designs.
I did some broad interpretations for my layout, using Mini Hexagon dies from Spellbinders and rather keeping the shapes in straight lines I altered it slightly (there is a fabulous sample on the back of the Spellbinder package).
I hope you check out the Gallery for some wonderful scrapbook layouts created by my teamies and don't forget to grab the Blocked and Squared 2 Freebie to create your own layout!

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties! Our theme for this challenge is "Last Christmas I gave you my HEART" - operative word being "heart" so we want you to include a heart on your card and don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute image. We have moved to a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along so you have a chance to proudly display our Winners Badge or Top 3 Badge.
Both the image and sentiment are from Scribbles Designs, #905 Hearts Truck and #048 All Hearts Come Home.
I colored the image with Copic markers and would loved to have added glossy accents on various hearts but my bottle has mysteriously disappeared ... I'm sure once I purchase a new bottle, the old one will appear.
The papers are from the Tula & Norbert's Christmas Party Collection by Photo Play.
Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

I chose to work with Silly Chickens on Coop cause they crack me up! I used Copic markers to color the image, white gel pen to add dots and finished it off with glossy accents. The background was made using Fossilized Amber and Spice Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks with Honeycomb stencil by PhotoPlay. The sentiments were computer generated.

Welcome to our "Add an Animal" Challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls! Our sponsor for this challenge is our own Claudia and Lisbeth and the lucky winner will receive a special surprise!
I created a slimline card with an image by Woodware Stamps called Pig party.
I used Copic markers to color the party piggys then went to work adding glossy accents to various features. After putting the layers together I added some buttons and finished off with the sentiment.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creations!
