Friendship Challenge at Creative Knockouts
What could be better than a friendship challenge during these crazy times. How nice would it be to send a card to that someone special to let them know you're thinking of them! Creative Knockouts is giving you an incentive to create those friendship cards!
Our sponsor for this challenge is The Artsy Stamper. Beverly has so many lovely and unique designs and she has generously donated one digital set to the lucky winner.
I chose to work with one of the images and sentiment from the Field Flower Silhouettes Set. To stretch the flowers out along the bottom, I duplicated the flower image and flipped it to create a side-by-side image and included the sentiment at the top.

I found some digital paper on Etsy that I used as a background for a sunset vibe. Its called Pink Dunes Sunset by Visual Gypsy. I was so happy with the way it turned out, I made two cards and I know I'll make more!
I don't know about you but with social media people forget about sending cards by mail, just think how surprised your friend will be getting it old school!

Christmas Craft Creations Challenge Launch
It was announced last month that Christmas at Sweet Stampin' Challenge is closing their doors HOWEVER, the remaining team members have worked together to create a new monthly challenge blog, Christmas Craft Creations! We are still looking for a couple more DT members so if you are interested let us know!
Our first challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is "Use a Stamp". Dig out those rubber stamps and show us what you got, I know you all have a stash somewhere!
I purchased this stamp last year and this is the first time I've used it. This is Top Hat Snowman Clear Stamp by Woodware Craft. It comes with three sentiments, the one below, "Dreaming of a White Christmas" and "May your Christmas Sparkle".
I colored the image with Copic markers and since the size of the stamp is quite large, I kept the layout simple, only adding some baker's twine and a button. This stamp is perfect for assembly line cards, quick and easy!
Now it's your turn to brush off those stamps and start creating! Make sure to pop over to CCC for some inspiration by our fab Design Team.
Stay healthy and safe!

Angels / Anything with Wings
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and keeping busy (crafting!) during this period of self isolation. I hope our new challenge at Winter Wonderland will motivate you to create something new!
Our challenge this month is "Angels / Things with Wings". Our sponsor for this challenge is Sherry West Art and the winner of this challenge will receive a special surprise from Sherry!
This image is Merry Christmouse. So pure, innocent and peaceful. I colored her up with Copic markers. The paper is part of the Winter Wonderland Collection by Doodlebug.
I have to share a funny story about this image. After I printed it off, it sat on my desk for a few days before I started coloring. While coloring I was looking at the space between her hands and was trying to figure out if it was part of the dress or maybe a heart...I wasn't sure so I colored it as part of her dress. I finished the coloring and the name of the image came to mind and I thought hmmm, why is it called Christmouse then it hit me - she's holding a mouse! So, out came the colorless blender and lightened the blue and recolored the tiny mouse grey. I really need some fresh air!

Anything Goes @ Creative Knockouts
Challenge time at Creative Knockouts! Our theme for this challenge is Anything Goes and our fab sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice!
This image is Valentine's Seahorses. I threw myself off with the colors I chose, the pink threw a wrench in the options of background papers that worked.
I colored the image with Copic markers and used distress spray to give an illusion of being underwater (hee hee). I'm anxious to use this image again with a different color palette, so many options!
Now it's your turn to start creating. I hope you are all safe and healthy during this crazy time!

White Christmas Challenge with the Cuties!
Now that Christmas with the Cuties is back in full swing, our March challenge is "White Christmas". So, so many options here but remember, it must be CUTE!
Our Sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles and the winner will receive a gift voucher to their store!
It was hard choosing which image to use, they are all so darn cute, I narrowed it down to Hollybobs Skater.
I colored her in shades of gray with my Copic markers and added a touch of stickles. I chose to use silver/gray background paper along with the embossed/sparkly paper to give the illusion of ice.
Challenges:
Polkadoodles Craft Challenge - Anything Goes Week #12
12 Months of Christmas Link Up - Ice, Ice Baby #63
Merry Little Christmas - Anything Goes #20

Layer it Up
Challenge time at Creatalicious! Our theme is always Anything Goes with Optional "Layers". Layers are so much fun to play with, options to use different colors and background papers - just let your imagination go!
Our Sponsor for this challenge is Colour of Love and they have graciously offered 3 digis to the winner!
This adorable spring digi is Buttercup's Rain Galoshes. Living in Vancouver, Canada we see huge amounts of rain throughout fall, winter and spring (which I dislike immensely). I wanted to make this card cheery even tho it's raining, unlike here when it rains it's gray, gloomy and gross.
I colored the image with Copic markers, as you can see in yellows and reds. I had perfect matching patterned and solid papers and love how it turned out. Other than the blue rain, I struggled with the color of her clothes. I didn't want to throw another color in there so decided gray would have to do. I couldn't find the right sentiment so I didn't add one - any suggestions??
I hope you all find your rainbow at the end of a rainy day - enjoy and don't forget to link up your entry!

Border Time Challenge at Creative Knockouts!
Show us your Borders!! That's what we want to see on your creation for this challenge at Creative Knockouts!
Our wonderful sponsor is Fred She Said Designs! So many wonderful images to choose from and the lucky winner will receive at $10 gift certificate to spend in their store!
The image I chose is Catch your Heart. It comes with with both outline and pre-colored images, as well as sentiments.
I colored the image with Copic Markers and use my oval die cut then used the scallop oval for the border. Now that I'm looking at it, I think the background paper is too busy. Guess I'll just have to make another one!
