We have a fabulous sponsor so make sure to upload your creation for your chance to win a special prize from Beccy's Place!

The image and sentiment is from the Snow Time collection. I used Copic markers to create the sky and color the adorable snowman and white acrylic paint for the snow splatters to make this card.

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties! Elves/Gnomes/Fairies is the theme for our new challenge - don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute image.

We are a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along for your chance to proudly display our Winners or Top 3 Badge.

This is a stamped image, Snow Gnome by Woodware Craft Collection colored with Copic markers. As the image is pretty large, I decided to make a small slimline card.

Marshmallow Snowman

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "Santa and/or Reindeer" - don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute image.

We are a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along for your chance to proudly display our Winners or Top 3 Badge.

The image is Snowman and Marshmallow from Kinda Cute by Patricia  Alvarez,  I did some coloring with Copics and went to work fussy cutting (grrr, I hate fussy cutting!).  After using a die cut to create the circle, I used Seeing Spots embossing folder for some texture.  Using foam squares, I applied them to the images and sentiment strip (Merry Messages by Lawn Fawn) and finished the card off with some purple sequins.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Snow Much Fun at Get Creative Challenges

Happy New Year! A new month brings a new challenge at Get Creative Challenges!  Our theme this month is Snow much Fun.

We are a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will play along for your chance to proudly display our Winner or Top 3 Badges.

It's pretty hard to see the snow falling, but it's there!  I ran out to grab some texture paste and ended up grabbing Sparkle paste, not quite the effect I was looking for but it works!  The lamp post was created using the Cricut Joy,

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you hop over to Get Creative Challenges for some inspiration from our fabulous Design Team!

Christmas Crackers & Treats

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "Something that's NOT a card" - we want you to show us your Christmas projects and don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute image.

We are a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along for your chance to proudly display our Winners or Top 3 Badge.

Meet the Cracker & Treat Box Die-cut by Stampin Up! This is a first for me and all and all it went pretty smoothly.  The dies are easy to work with, all you need is some Christmas paper then let your imagination flow.  These little boxes will be perfect on the plates at Christmas and you could even use them as name cards.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Warm Wishes from Kate Hadfield Designs

Here is my first creation for Kate Hadfield Designs and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of her fabulous creative team!

Make sure you visit her shop, there are resources for digital scrapbooking, crafts, doodles & clipart, visit the gallery or blog for inspiration!

This is my first time attempting a Card Box and while I had challenges I think this is a pretty good prototype!  The images are from the Snow Day collection and after coloring the images with Copic  markers I used my Silhouette to cut the images.

Next came the assembly which I will not bore you with (and its just too confusing to write it all down!)
The first layer is white cardstock, second is glitter cardstock and the last from the Snowy Sprigs collection by Echo Park.

The back piece was looking really bare and I was trying to figure out how I was going to stamp a sentiment (since it was already assembled) and what sentiment I should use.  I was browsing through my dies and came across Warm Wishes.  Voila!

I haven't pulled out my scrapbook stuff in ages, but looking through all the goodies in the shop, I think it's time I try digital scrapbooking, you never know what I'll create next month!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Christmas Tags at Christmas Craft Creations

Christmas Craft Creations has a new challenge this month and our theme is Tags or ATC.  If you're not sure what ATC means, it's Artist Trading Cards.  These cards are small, 3.5" x 2.5" in size.  The choice is yours!

This month's prize was donated by our one and only Lynne! For your chance to win this beautiful tag die, remember to add our challenge badge to your post.

For my tag I used The Big Family of Little Snowman stamp set with matching dies.

I colored the little fellas with Copic markers and used the dies to cut them out.  The circles were cut from stitched circle dies and I also used hillside dies to make the snowbank with glitter paper for that sparkle.  I stamped a few snowflakes then used pop dots on the snowmen and sentiment for some dimension.

The sentiment is from the Puffy Holiday Greetings collection by Mama Elephant and finished it off with red gingham ribbon.

I look forward to seeing your ATC's or Tags so make sure to link them up here and remember to include our Challenge Badge for your chance to win!

Snowy in Blue & Silver

I have been admiring this image for so long now and imagine my excitement as I wandered around our local craft store and saw this stamp as part of their 50% off Christmas sale!

I thought it would be perfect for our new challenge at Christmas Craft Creations, Blue & Silver.

This stamp is Snowy by Penny Black and I stamped the image with Versamark then covered it with silver embossing powder.  Once heated and set I colored the image with Copic Markers and added stickles to the hat for a bit of sparkle.

It's hard to see in the picture but the bottom layer and the layer behind the image is silver and matched it with some silver ribbon and blue background papers.

I am so in love with this image so be prepared to see him often!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you will join us for our challenge and remember to include the challenge graphic (below) in your post for your chance to win!

Christmas in the Snow

Challenge time at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "Christmas in the Snow", in other words, add snow or snowman(men) to your creation and remember, it must be cute!!

Our fun and fabulous sponsor is Bugaboo and they have a special prize for the winner of this challenge.

Bugaboo has so many images to choose from, it was difficult to make a decision.  I finally decided on Candy Cane Snowman. I colored the image with Copic markers then added stickles to the snow drifts and glossy accents to various parts of the image for added dimension.

I hope you have fun with the challenge and if you haven't started on your Christmas cards, this is the perfect challenge to get you started.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Grouchy Cat

We've officially passed the 6 month mark to Christmas - how can that be??

If you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, our August challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is a great place to start!   Our theme for August is Animals - Christmas themed of course!

(Don't forget to add this badge to you blog when you enter our challenge)

I came across Grouchy Snowman over at CC Designs and I fell in love with it, Grouchy makes me smile!

Not a lot of coloring to be done, the coloring I did do was with Copic markers and added glossy accents for a bit of dimension.  I wasn't sure how to display the image and I figured you can't go wrong with black and red. I found some black and white plaid paper and used a border die to create the red scallops, finished it off with red ribbon.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas Animals!!

New Challenge with the Cuties

Welcome to new challenge at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme is Anything Cute and Christmas Goes with Optional Two (2) or more Patterned Papers.

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Sentiments and the image below is Snowman at the Window.

I used Copic markers to color the image then a white gel pen to add the squiggles.  I used my tag dies to cut two sizes of tags with two different patterned papers.  I fussy cut the image, added pop dots and positioned it on top of the tags.  The glitter "hi" is part of the Fab Frames die cut collection by Paper Smooches. Finishing touch, silver sequins.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the day!

Christmas Craft Creations Challenge Launch

It was announced last month that Christmas at Sweet Stampin' Challenge is closing their doors HOWEVER, the remaining team members have worked together to create a new monthly challenge blog, Christmas Craft Creations!  We are still looking for a couple more DT members so if you are interested let us know!

Our first challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is "Use a Stamp".  Dig out those rubber stamps and show us what you got, I know you all have a stash somewhere!

I purchased this stamp last year and this is the first time I've used it.  This is Top Hat Snowman Clear Stamp by Woodware Craft.  It comes with three sentiments, the one below, "Dreaming of a White Christmas" and "May your Christmas Sparkle".

I colored the image with Copic markers and since the size of the stamp is quite large, I kept the layout simple, only adding some baker's twine and a button.  This stamp is perfect for assembly line cards, quick and easy!

Now it's your turn to brush off those stamps and start creating!  Make sure to pop over to CCC for some inspiration by our fab Design  Team.

Stay healthy and safe!

Blue Christmas at Winter Wonderland

Time for our March challenge at Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog!  Our theme this month is "Blue Christmas" and our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Digi Stamps!

This image is Snowman Winter and taking our theme into consideration, I colored the whole image in shades of blue with my Copic markers.  I added glossy accents and sparkle stickles for added effect.  I finished the design off with baker's twine and matching sequins.

There are so many lovely shades of blue and I look forward to seeing what you create!  Have fun!

Feature a Sentiment at CASS

Into the month of February already! With a new month comes a new challenge and our theme at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is "Feature a Sentiment".

I had fun creating this card - in my roaming of Instagram, I came across a card from #mamaelephant and wanted to try out the design.  I'm really happy with how it turned out and it was nice and quick too.

This stamp/die set is  The Big Family of Little Snowman and is so fun to play with.  I used my Cameo to cut out the letters on glitter cardstock and pulled out my snowflake embossing folder for the background.  After I colored up the images I used foam tape to attach everything to the card.

I'm looking forward to making more cards like this featuring different sentiments and different color combos.

I hope to see your creations entered in our challenge!  Have fun and stay warm!

Snowboardin' through a Winter Wonderland

This month's challenge at Winter Wonderland is a tribute to Eileen.  Eileen was the former owner and DT coordinator of Winter Wonderland Challenge and sadly, she passed away in 2017.  A huge thank you to Helen who has kept the blog going in honor of Eileen.

Our theme this  month is Anything goes and our sponsor for this challenge is SheepSki Designs and the winner will receive 3 images!

There are so many unique images at SheepSki it was hard to choose.  I decided on Snowboardin'.  I colored this adorable snowman with Copic markers and added Frosted Lace stickles to the pom pom of his toque (aka hat for those non-Canadians!).

I used a tag die-cut and mounted with foam tape and filled with some goodies to create a shaker. I fussy cut the image and applied foam tape to the image to give the illusion of "snowboarding".  Lastly I tied some twine to the top of the tag and put it all together.

Little Friends Challenge at Winter Wonderland

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's and now it's time to get back to creating and start building your cards for next Christmas!  Our first challenge of the year at Winter Wonderland is Little Friends....just remember to make sure it's a Christmas Card!

Our sponsor for this Challenge is Wink Wink Ink and their digi stamps are adorable!  Wink Wink Ink is graciously giving the winner of this challenge a $15 gift certificate to spend in their store!

The image I played with is Season's Tweetings, such a sweet image with a darling little robin!  Since pink is one of my fave colors and I have quite a few pieces of pink Christmas themed paper I decided to pull out the pink Copic markers and color it up.  For contrast I used blue background paper and blue baker's twine and button.

Time to pullout your supplies and start creating - I'm excited to see your little friends!

Prize:  $15 gift certificate

Winter Wonderland Challenge - Holly or Ivy

I'm thrilled to be a new member of the Winter Wonderland Design Team!  Our challenge to you this month is to incorporate Holly or Ivy into your creation!

Our sponsor for this challenge is SheepSki Designs.  The winner will receive 3 images of their choice!

The image below is Snowman Selfie and I loved working with the image.  This selfie is much better than the selfies I try to take with my family, usually only my eye is captured and everyone's heads are cut out of the image - I blame it on my short arms!

I used Copic Markers to color the image and followed up with a white gel pen to add some dimension.  When I use this image again, I am going to use my Silhouette Cameo to cut out a hashtag, will have to think of a funny caption....

The background papers have been in my stash for a long time, it's called Jolly by Golly: Play Day by Cosmo Cricket.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join us and link up your Holly/Ivy creations!  Don't forget to stop in and see what our Design Team has created!

Snow Buddies at Digi Haven!

The weather outside is still frightful in my corner of the world so our theme of Snow Buddies at Digi Haven is quite appropriate for me!

We have a fun & fab sponsor for this challenge, Dilly Beans!  The winner will receive 3 digi stamps of their choice!

I love this image, Framed Disturbed Snowman from Dilly Beans.  When I colored this image, I really had no paper or layout ideas and while I was looking at it I wasn't sure I liked what I had done ... until I found this paper and ribbon from my stash and now I have to admit I love it.
