Hello Friend

Happy April! The birds are singing, weather is getting warmer and the flowers are popping!  Spring is such a magical time and a time for new beginnings.

Creative Knockouts has a new challenge starting with a fabulous sponsor All Dressed Up.  Their images are magical and whimsical and I enjoyed playing with Magical Woodland!

Our theme for this challenge is "Add a Sentiment" and I finally did it right the first time and remembered the theme before I got into creating!

I colored this adorable image with Copic markers and added a Touch of Stella to the wings, mushrooms and flowers.  I wasn't sure about the layout and was looking through my dies and came across "Tagged" by Penny  Black.  I used the large tag die on the image then created a topper out of background paper with the same die and finished off the bottom with zig zag border.

The background papers are from the Tulla and Norbert Collection by PhotoPlay as well as the sentiment banner that I fussy cut.  Added some sequins, bakers twine and ta-da, card is finished!

I truly appreciate you stopping by and I hope to see your creation linked up here! Enjoy your day!

Feature a Sentiment at CASS

Into the month of February already! With a new month comes a new challenge and our theme at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is "Feature a Sentiment".

I had fun creating this card - in my roaming of Instagram, I came across a card from #mamaelephant and wanted to try out the design.  I'm really happy with how it turned out and it was nice and quick too.

This stamp/die set is  The Big Family of Little Snowman and is so fun to play with.  I used my Cameo to cut out the letters on glitter cardstock and pulled out my snowflake embossing folder for the background.  After I colored up the images I used foam tape to attach everything to the card.

I'm looking forward to making more cards like this featuring different sentiments and different color combos.

I hope to see your creations entered in our challenge!  Have fun and stay warm!

Any Winter Holiday Sentiment Challenge

There's only one week left on our "Any Winter Holiday Sentiment" challenge over at Aud Sentiments.
This challenge is sponsored by Polka Doodles and Nikky is giving the lucky winner the Magical Winter CD Set!
But wait, there's another incentive! Paulette from Create with TLC will be designing beautiful sentiments to use on our challenges. If you use the sentiment on your entry, you will have 2 chances to win a prize from Paulette. Make sure you add your name twice with Mr. Linky.

Don't worry if you decide not to use the sentiment, you will still get one entry in the challenge with a chance to win the fab CD from Polka Doodles.
Here is Paulette's first creation for Aud Sentiments:

I love this sentiment so I decided to showcase it with one of my fave color combos, turquoise and brown. The Brown on Brown Glitter Snowflake paper is from The Robin's Nest and the snowflake brad, ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Now it's your turn! Make sure you stop by Aud Sentiments to check out the amazing creations by our Design Team! Happy Crafting!
Supplies: Glitter snowflake cardstock from The Robin's Nest, metal snowflake brad, pearls, ribbon, Wonky Rectangle Spellbinder Nestabilities, Tim Holtz Distressed Ink
