Manly Amazing

Sometimes creating masculine cards can be daunting, there seems to be an abundance of girly embellishments where masculine embellies are few and far between!  I had this same problem trying to find cute clothes for my baby boys!!

With all that being said, I find less is more when creating those manly cards anyways!!

I bought a pile of digis from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps a while back (and am sad to report that I have since lost them all when my flash drive was corrupted) and I managed to print off a couple of sheets before I lost them all and have now been creating a nice selection of manly cards for my stash.

Meet Run Derek Run. He's a kind ol' chap and was fun to work with.  I colored him up with my Copic markers and added some layers, twine, brad and washi tape to complete the card.  I hope card puts a smile on your face!

Cheers!

Hottie

Summer has arrived ... well in some parts anyways!  We had a beautiful May, hot and sunny then the weather turned unsettled in June and today as I look out my window it's gray and rainy.  To brighten things up I created this card using Little Umbrella by Mo Manning.

I colored her up with my Copic markers, added some layers, ribbon and i-candy - instant summer!

Dad, You're the Best!

Time to celebrate that special Dad in your life!  They will be proudly sporting those ties, socks, bathrobes, hats and playing with their new sporting gear and tools!

This image is BBQ Bill from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  My poor hubby has the same look on his face very time he tries to barbeque.  The boys and I have come to realize that no matter how hard he tries, everything will be well done.

I hope you all spoil your men and have fun!!

The thing I'm happiest about with this card is the cheeriness of it.  I hope it makes someone's day a little bit brighter!

The stamp is by Lawn Fawn "on the mend" and have had this set for at least 2 years but have never used them until I purchased the matching dies last week, poor little stamps!

I colored the flowers with copic markers, added some glossy accents on the flower faces and a bit of glitter on the vase.

Love 'em at work

Yes, it truly has been over a year since I have posted, yikes where has the time gone?  So many changes in the last year, one being location which unfortunately doesn't give me room for my crafting!  I truly hate cleaning up after a day of crafting only to have to pull it out and start all over again.  Okay, enough of my whining ...

I work with an amazing group of gals and I wanted to give them something special to celebrate Valentine's Day.  I put on my baking hat and whipped up a batch of sugar cookies and while they were baking, I started card creating.  I wanted something clean and simple so I used these mini-valentine images by Whimsie Doodles.  Apologies for the rough looking pictures, forgot to take pics at home with a nice background so I had to quickly snap them at work.

They were quick and fun to create and they looked adorable with the bagged sugar cookies.

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully it won't be another year before I post again!
