Yeti for a White Christmas

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas" and don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute, cute image.

This Yeti and sentiment is from the Yeti Set Go set by Lawn Fawn and it comes with matching dies.  After coloring the image with Copic markers I used the die to cut it out then went to work on the background.  I used Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks and sprayed with Shimmer spray.  Once dry I used white texture paste on the Frosty Snowflakes stencil by Simple Stories and Stitched Hillside Border dies to create the snow banks.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Hippity Hoppity

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is "Pick 2 or More", ribbons, bling, buttons, die-cuts, punches ... you get the idea!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Pattie's Creations and the lucky winner will receive 4 of their choice!

I picked Hippity Hoppity Bunny Gnome to work with for this challenge and I'm so glad I did!
I colored the image with Copic markers and used oval die-cuts to create a frame.  I printed the background digital paper by Erin Bradley Designs and the sentiment is also digital but I'm not sure where it's from.

In honor of our theme, I used 2 die-cuts, 3 ribbons, 3 pieces of sequins and 3 Happy Easters - I finally remembered the theme BEFORE I created my card, yeah for me!

Make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!

Make a Wish Punk Style

Welcome to our Sketch Challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls!   Our sponsor for this challenge is Oddball Art Co. and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice!

This image is Tanith #101 and I had some fun with her.  After coloring her with Copic markers I decided to make the ledge that she was sitting on a bit more pronounced.  Something still was missing so I took a big gamble and decided to add a brick wall behind her.  I used a stencil and outlined the bricks with my lightest Copic and once I was done I started coloring in the blocks ... something was still missing.  Took out my black Micron 005 marker and did some loose outlining, that's the ticket!

I wasn't sure what sentiment to use, and ended up with a simple "Make a Wish".

Thanks so much for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creations!

Birthday Fairy

Ready for a new challenge over at Creatalicious Challenges?  Our theme as always is Anything Goes with an optional twist "Fairy".

While we don't have a sponsor for this challenge, we hope you still join us for fun!

This darling image is Twila Fairy by CC Designs.  I did purchase the digital version some time ago however it looks like digital images are no longer available.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the image then I went to work coloring.  I added glossy accents to the flower crown and Nuvo White Blizzard glitter drops on the wings and Honey Gold glitter drops to the wand.  I found some glitter background paper that matched the dress perfectly.  The sentiment is from the Curly Greetings collection by Woodware Stamps. To finish it off I added a couple of hearts and gems for extra bling.

Make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration then start creating!

Go-Kart Fun

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Birthday Wishes.

Our sponsor for this challenge is one and only Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and the lucky winner will receive 2 images of their choice!

Since my hubby is obsessed with go-karts at the moment, I chose to work with GoKart Gordon for this challenge. I decided to make two different cards, one birthday as that's our theme and the second a retirement card.

I came across a sketch at Stick it Down and decided to give it a try. I colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.

In support of Ukraine, I used blue and yellow on my first card and matched it with papers from On the Go Collection by Bo Bunny.  For the second card I used papers from the Celebrate Collection by Authentique.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team
then it's your turn to start creating!

Happy Freezin' Season

SLIMLINE is the theme for our March challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

The stamp set I used for my Slimline Card is called Let it Snow by Avery Elle.  While I'm not overly happy with the results of the embossed trees, I do love the stamp.

The background was created by using Distress Oxide Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Saltwater Taffy and Squeezed Lemonade and followed up with Ranger Texture Paste and Snow Flurry stencil by Talyored Expressions.

This was my second attempt on embossing it still didn't turn out right.  I tried using white pigment ink and white embossing powder then just Versamark and white embossing powder, even stamping it twice but can't seem to get full coverage on the trees.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.
Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Christmas Presents

This month at Winter Wonderland our challenge theme is Christmas Presents and our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Stampers Delight!

This image is Kawaii Xmas Gift Parachute and perfect for our challenge!

I used Copic markers to color the image then added some glossy accents and sparkle along the garland using a silver glitter paint pen by Craftsmart.  The clouds were created using a stencil and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink, the sentiment is by Darcie's Coolest Christmas collection and the final touch was to spritz the card with Sparkle Shimmer Spray.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas cards and for some extra inspiration, make sure you check out our Design Team's creations.

Spring is sure to follow

Yes, eventually Spring is sure to follow!  Not sure about you but I've had enough of this winter and the sunshine can start any time now.

This cute little critter is from the Signs of Spring Collection by Kate Hadfield.  There are so many fun elements in this collection but this little fella caught my eye.

For my layout I followed the design by one of my fave bloggers, Shani from Paperesse.  Her layouts and papers are always fabulous.

I found these papers in my stash, unfortunately I have no idea where they are from.  The image was colored with Copic markers and after matching the papers and following Shani's design the card is complete!
