When you look this good!

Oh yeah, it's time to celebrate another creative spurt from our Designers! Dude Time Doodles is sponsoring a Blog Hop to introduce you to the new images they have created - woop woop!
If you’ve arrived here from Anne, you’re on the right track. Although, there really is no wrong route, just keep hopping until you’ve seen all the wonderful creations from the FAB Dudette Design Team. Make sure you leave some love cause one of us is the MYSTERY HOSTESS! That’s right, one lucky person will win one of the new images just for commenting! Make sure you leave some extra love for our newest Dudette, CG!

I love working with Fanny and I love the color pink! Fanny's streaking (not literally of course, hey wait a minute ... Marlene ... just an idea!) down the slopes lookin' mighty fine with her scarf blowing in the breeze (good thing she is dressed, I think more things would be blowing in the breeze!).
It was at a customer appreciation night at our local craft store (Creative Accents) and I couldn't resist picking up the papers and felt snowflakes. I also used their sketch as my layout for this card.
Now it's off to Dawn and remember, leave her some much deserved love for her creation!

I purchased these glass blocks years ago and every Christmas I promise myself I will make place setting cards. Well, this is my first year!

The cards looked so lonely that I had to make napkin rings to go along with them. I know I'll have to make more once I know how full of a house we'll have for Christmas dinner ... I may have to buy more holders too!
Supplies: Christmas Doodles Collection by Digi Stamp Boutique, liquid applique, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Copic markers, variety of Christmas paper.

Whimsie Doodles has generously donated a $10 gift certificate to the winner PLUS you can receive 10% off you next order by entering the discount code CFM10. This special offer expires 30 days from today.
I had fun creating this card - the Gate Fold is one of my faves! With a house of boys, gaming in our house is huge so of course I love this Epic Birthday image by Whimsie Doodles.
I kept the embellies simple with a funky butterfly clip, metal swirly thingy, white iRock gems and glossed the buttons up with Glossy Accents.
I had to try out my new Spellbinder Nestabilities and have to say they are perfect for male cards, so needless to say, I'll be using them quite a bit!

Aud Sentiments - Thank you or Thanksgiving Challenge

You only have one more week to enter Aud Sentiments "Thank you or Thanksgiving" Challenge. For added inspiration, Team B is showcasing their creations this week so make sure you check them out!
Our sponsor for this challenge is Wee Stamps. They are giving the winner 3 digi images of their choice!
This beautiful image is "Silver Fairy". When I was young, my fave colors were lilac and green so when I started working with this image, it brought me back to the lilac wallpaper in my bedroom with purple and green flowers.
I'm not used to creating fancy, girly cards so I may have gone a bit overboard with the bling ... I really wasn't sure what else to do (yikes!!). I've been around boys too long!
Now it's your turn. Make sure you check out the amazing projects our Design Team has created for your inspiration. Happy Crafting!

Cards for Men

I'm thrilled to announce that I am now a member of the Cards for Men Design Team! They have a great new challenge starting today "It's Nearly Christmas" sponsored by Karen's Doodles.
I had a hard time picking an image as they are all so cute, so I decided to make a couple of cards. My first card is with Christmas Tree Guy.
Such a jolly little tree he is! I wanted to use papers that were bright and jolly and I think the "Believe" paper pack by Close to my Heart works perfectly. I colored the image with my Copics and of course, added Glossy Accents to his nose, eyes, gloves and boots. I glittered up his hat and applied Liquid Applique to the rim of his hat and added more bling to his "body" and boots. I thought the red and white Baker's Twine added the touch the card needed.

My second card features Bigsby Swinging Lights. I also colored this image with my Copics and added dimension with Glossy Accents and Liquid Applique. I added some red and green rhinestones, as well as brads and ribbon.
Make sure you check out the other Design Team Members creations for some "Nearly Christmas" inspiration!

"Pick a Day" Challenge

It's time for another Wednesday challenge at Dude Time Doodles. This time, we are asking you to create a project based on one of these special November Days:

  • World Hello Day - November 21st
  • Thanksgiving - November 24th
  • Stay @ Home Because You're Well Day
My pick was Thanksgiving, how could I not when Fanny Thanks is up for grabs! Since I colored her with a fairly bright orange, I chose some subtle papers to tone it down....but with a comment like "Turkey Farts", how can one tone it down?!
Now it's your turn to have some fun! Pick a "Day" and get on with it BUT not before you check out the other FAB creations from the Design Team!
