Skatin' by to say ...

Reminder time for Creative Sketchy Girls Winter/Christmas/New Year's Challenge - there is still time to link up your creation(s) here!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Color of Love and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice!

I used the stamp and die-cut set Polar Bear Pals by MFT Stamps.  After coloring the polar bear with Copics I used the matching die-cut to cut it out and added pop dots to the back.

I taped off the bottom of the card and used Blueprint and Prize Ribbon Oxide Distress Inks to color the sky.  After it dried I pulled out my Snowy Flurry stencil by Taylored Expressions the spread texture paste overtop.  Of course, in true fashion I forgot something, the sentiment.  Luckily there was room at the bottom that fit the sentiment from the Jolly and Merry stamp set by Mama Elephant.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I look forward to seeing what you create!

Your're Kick A$$

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is ATG - Any Thing Goes.

Our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter and the lucky winner will receive 3 images of their choice!

I chose to work with The Bricklayer for this challenge.  I made this card for a kick a$$ girl, Stephanie.  We work in what could be considered, or used to be considered a male dominate field.  She was a member of my project team and coordinated all the field/construction work for one of my projects.  Without her, it would not have been as successful as it was.  Thanks Stephanie!

I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo then colored the image with Copics.  For the background, I used a brick stencil and Picket Fence Distress Ink and black glimmer mist.  The sentiment is from the Uplifters collection by Paper Smooches which was heat embossed with black embossing powder.

Oh Christmas Tree Re-visited

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is 'Twas the Challenge before Christmas meaning "revisit your fave challenge from 2021" and don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute, cute image.

Our lovely sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Sentiments!

This image is part of the Christmas Gnomes collection by Laurie Furnell Ink.  Even tho my card falls into two previous challenge categories, Elves/Gnomes & Fairies and Oh Christmas Tree, I opted for "Oh Christmas Tree" so I could try out my new background stamp by WOW! called Modern Winter Forest.

I used Versamark on the background stamp and white embossing powder.  After using the heat gun to set the powder I used my tag die-cut.  I fussy cut the image after coloring with Copics then started assembling the card.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Slidin' Santa

Ready for a new challenge over at Creatalicious Challenges?  Our theme as always is Anything Goes with an optional twist ... "CHRISTMAS".

Our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter and the lucky winner will receive  3 digis of their choice!

This cute little image is Xtreme Xmas.  Didn't realize Santa was into Xtreme sports but the proof is in the image!

After coloring Santa with Copic markers I fussy cut the image and set him aside.  I went to work making the background using Hillside and slider die-cuts.  Not gonna lie, it took me a few tries to get it working.

The sky was made using Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks and the snowflakes were stamped with Versamark and white embossing powder.

Now it's your turn to show us your creativity.  Make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration.

Time to Be Merry little Gnome

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Time to be Merry.  Apologies as my post is late, vacationing in Mexico and all!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Laurie Furnell Ink and the lucky winner will receive 2 digi sets of their choice!

I loved coloring this little guy, he´s part of the Christmas Gnomies collection.  After coloring with Copic markers I fussy cut then added pop dots to the back.  I used my Tag diecuts for both pieces, using a snowflake embossing folder on the smaller tag.  I added the sentiment along the side then put the tag together before adding him to the background paper.

Thanks for stopping by and BTW, we are having a DT Call.  Just check out the info here, we´d love to have you as part of our team!

Christmas Village

MAKE A SCENE is the theme for our December challenge at Christmas Craft Creations! Let your creative juices flow and imagination run wild!

Our local craft shop had their annual Customer Appreciation day and as I was poking around I came across this die cut called Village Edges by Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I used shades of grey for the two back layers and white for the top layer which I applied pop-dots for some dimension.  This die-cut is perfect for making multiple cards at one time and it's fast and easy to put together.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Huddle in Color

This month at Winter Wonderland our challenge theme is Anything Goes Christmas.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Sheepski Designs and the lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice!

This image is called Huddle.  Now I realize penguins are typically black and white however, I wanted to do something different - I only wish I printed the image a bit larger to prevent it being lost in the design.

I colored the image with Copic markers and used distress inks on the Holly Jolly stencil.  Our local craft shop had a customer appreciation day last weekend and I received the Sunburst Stripe Circle die-cut as a gift and decided to try it out.  The sentiment is from the Festive Ticker Tape Wording stamp set by Creative Expressions.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas cards and for some extra inspiration, make sure you check out our Design Team's creations.

Jolly Ornaments

A new month brings a new challenge at Christmas 24!

Our theme this month is "Ribbon".  Show us your creativity by adding some ribbon to your creation!

This is a new stamp set for me, it's called Be Jolly by Create a Smile.  I fell in love with the expressions on their faces and had to have the set.

I colored the images with Copic markers then fussy cut them all.  After deciding where I wanted the baubles I drew the strings then attached the images with pop-dots.  The sentiments are also from the set and I used gold and white embossing powder.  For the card on the right, I added some gold ribbon near the bottom.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you hop over to Christmas 24 for some inspiration from our fabulous Design Team!
