My Hero Inspiration

It's inspiration challenge time over at Dude Time Doodles and this month, our inspiration is "Who is your Hero". All you have to do is use the above photo inspiration to create a masculine themed card - you are not required to use BDD images although it would make us really happy if you did! Be sure to link your creation using Mr. Linky over at Dude Time Doodles.
This was an easy one for me as my hero is my dad. My dad was a mechanic who started his own business and worked out of our house. Our driveway was always filled with cars waiting to be fixed. His business grew and soon he moved into his own shop.
I remember working in the office and was afraid to touch anything because of all the greasy fingerprints - they were everywhere! So when I started to create this card, I HAD to add some "greasy" fingerprints to make this authentic!

The image I used is called "Under Carriage Craig" but I've renamed it for my project "Under Carriage Jim" (hee hee). The orangey/red paper is from Pixar Cars package by Creative Memories and the notepad paper is from the Boyfriend collection from Cosmo Cricket.
My dad was an amazing man. He worked hard every day but always had time for his family, he was funny, stubborn, strong, stable and I could talk to him about anything. I wish my dad was still with us so I could give him this card. I miss him terribly and think of him every day. I love you dad!
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
