Flower Power at Creative Knockouts

This beautiful image is Bouquet.  I colored the image with Copics and used a round die-cut then added Glossy Accents and pink Nuvo drops for dimension. I snagged this paper by  Dare 2b Artzy from the sale bin at our local craft store - I wish I picked up a few more pieces!

This image is is from Woodware Craft Collections "Snowman Family". I stamped the image on cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  Before adding Nuvo drops and glossy accents, I used my Frosty Snowflakes stencil by Simple Stories with texture paste combined with gold glitter and to finish it off I sprayed the card with Sheer Shimmer craft spray. The sentiment is from the Top Hat Snowman set also by Woodware.

This image is from the set Holly Jolly My Butt by Deb Davis.  I no longer have this set but before I sold it, I stamped a few images however I have no idea what paper I used as I was having some issues with the ink bleeding :( To cover some of the bleeding I tried using Fun Flock and a white gel pen.

I created this shaker card based on a previous creation I found on Pinterest by Christine.  Those who follow my posts know that I'm not particularly fond of creating shaker cards and yes, there were no shortages of problems along the way!

Live your Life by a Compass

Two or More Patterned Papers is the theme for our new challenge at Creative Knockouts!

I used Copics to color the image and added some sparkle to the compass face with a Wink of Stella and a black glitter Spica pen for the beaded chain.  The papers are from the 24/Seven Collection by Simple Stories.

I love this image Walk by Faith and it comes with a number of beautiful sentiments.  It is very similar to a tattoo I have, and the meaning of the compass to me is so you can "always find your way home".

This was a Snow Girl freebie came from Dearie Dolls, unfortunately I couldn't find them anymore so I'm not able to provide a link.

I printed the image on cardstock and used circle die-cuts on the image as well as on the red glitter background paper.  I need some dimension so I used my Lots of Dots embossing folder by Taylored Expressions.  Added a sentiment (from craft magazine) and some more glitter cardstock and a button to finish it off.

One Layer Ho Ho Ho

ONE LAYER is the theme for our March challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

I used a background stamp called Santa Hats by Say it with Stamps and attempted to use watercolors to paint the hats (I need a bit more practice) and applied various Stickles and Nuvo Drops to the "fur".  I also applied black Nuvo Drops and a Ho Ho stamp throughout.

Hoppy Easter

I had so much fun creating this card.  I created the "Hoppy" card using my Silhouette Cameo and after assembling I used Copics to color the adorable Bunny Gnomes from the Spring Gnomes stamp set by My Favorite Things then fussy cut and applied foam dots to the back before sticking them to the card.

Cozy Christmas Fireplace

I loved working with the Christmas Fireplace image, so much so that I created two cards. For my layers I decided to do a lot of fussy cutting (I really don't enjoy this part!) and made layers of the stockings, gifts and candles.  After coloring with Copics and all the fussy cutting, I picked out some "wall" paper, along with "flooring" for the backdrop then went to work with foam dots.  

I really love how these cards turned out even though this wasn't my first vision!
