Snowman Family

Join me for our new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties!  Our theme for this challenge is "Something Hand Colored" and don't forget, your creation must be Christmas themed and feature a cute image.

We have moved to a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along so you have a chance to proudly display our Winners Badge or Top 3 Badge.

This image is is from Woodware Craft Collections "Snowman Family". I stamped the image on cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  Before adding Nuvo drops and glossy accents, I used my Frosty Snowflakes stencil by Simple Stories with texture paste combined with gold glitter and to finish it off I sprayed the card with Sheer Shimmer craft spray. The sentiment is from the Top Hat Snowman set also by Woodware.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas project and make sure you check out the Design Team's creations for some inspiration and remember - projects must be Christmassy and have to be Cute!

Sparkle Time Challenge

Happy New Year! I hope you all are well rested from the holidays and ready to tackle our January Challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'!

Our theme for this month is ADD SOME SPARKLE ... who doesn't like a bit of bling?

I purchased Frozen Fellowship stamp last year from Newton's Nook Designs and this is the first time using it. The stamp set includes two sentiments, one is above.  It's a fun set and I really enjoyed playing with it.

I colored the image with Copic markers and added some sparkle with my Wink of Stella brush (I hope you can see the sparkle, it is there - promise!).  I stamped the sentiment with white pigment ink and have to admit this was my second go-around as I forgot how long the ink takes to dry.  The background paper is a snowflake design and thought it was a good match for the image.

I plan to make more of these cards, there are so many color combos to use and can be great to use in a pinch.

Now it's your turn to plan and I look forward to seeing all that glitter and bling!
