For my card I used Stella by Bugaboo Stamps. I just love her attitude and thought this sentiment stamp by Stampendous was quite fitting!  

The papers are from my stash, as well as the purple snowflake and tinsel ribbon.  I added glossy accents to Stella's glasses and shoes.

For my card I used the baubles from the Christmas Digital Stamp collection by My Grafico.  I changed the color of the image on my computer the used my ornament die cut to cut it out....thought I would stay with the bauble theme thru and thru!

Okay ... ever have an idea that looks great in your mind but when it comes to creating it just doesn't translate?!  With that being said, I give you permission to laugh at my, well ... poinsettia is what I was aiming for!

At least the image is adorable!  I chose Jake Poinsettia to work with, isn't he cute!  The, ahem, poinsetta that I made came from pop can tabs and a whole lot of glue from my glue gun.  Seriously, it makes me laugh every time I look at it!

Christmas time at Digi Haven

As my son reported to me this morning, only 19 more days until Christmas, yikes!  Hopefully this challenge at Digi Haven will get you going on some Christmas cards!

Our theme for this challenge is Christmas and our fun and fab sponsor is Bugaboo!  The winner will receive 7 digis of their choice!

I chose to work with AKV Nativity Donkey by Bugaboo.  I colored this cute little donkey with my copic markers, added a holly jolly paperclip and the sentiment is computer generated.  This was such an fast and easy card to make, perfect recipe for mass volume ... I better get crafting!

Christmas Stockings at Christmas Cards all year 'Round

December already!? Well, no denying it so let's get on with December's Challenge at CCAY!  Our theme for December is Christmas Stockings.

For my card I used the adorable digi stamp set by From the Heart but unfortunately I don't see it in their shop anymore.  The papaers are from the Merry & Bright Collection by Carta Bella, I love their colors!

I used my copic markers to add some color to the image then some stickles to the stocking and glossy accents to the candy canes.  The stocking embellie is from my stash and thought it quite appropriate for this theme!

Out of the BoX Challenge

Out of the BoX you say ... not sure what that means?!  Well, at ABC Christmas Challenge, we want to see your "non-square" creations.  Yup, that means NO square cards!

I decided to make a gift tag by using Pedestal  Tag 1 by Shape EZ and I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the tag.  The digi is Skating Bunny by Zaltoena's Design.  I used my copy markers to color it up and glossy accents for some dimension.  I then added some Christmas sayings, bling and ribbon to the tag.

A little bit about Zlatoena: My mom and I used to make handmade cards and that`s how everything started. I'm last year graphic design student and I have always had to passion to draw and doodle and one day someone came with the idea for digi stamps and .. 3 years since then.. I am creating digital stamps and.. The Cats Pajamas Rubber stamps are producing my designs into real stamps.. and I am as happy as can be.

Thanks or Thanksgiving Challenge

It's time for another challenge at Digi Haven!  Our theme is Thanks or Thanksgiving and our sponsor is Beccy's Place!  The winner will receive 3 digi images of choice!

The image I chose for my card is Haunted Birdhouse by Beccy.  I stayed with "fall" colors, browns and oranges then added some burlap, button, string and pennants.  I also used an embossing folder that looks like wood for the background.

For my card I used a freebie from StampFairy.  I colored the image with my copic markers then added some rhinestones and stickles.  I also added some stitching around the edges cause I thought the card needed a little sumthin'.
