Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenges has a new challenge ready to go for you!

CBC will feature a new Bingo card for each challenge and while this isn't your typical game of BINGO, you are required to use at least three items in ONE column.

We are a "just for fun" challenge where you will have the chance to proudly display our Winner or Top Pick Badge!

My choice was the "G" column - Wedding, Silver, Ribbon and Doily.

The image is from the Piece of Cake collection by Stampin' Up! This set has a variety of cake selections, making it easy to pick a cake for different celebrations.  After coloring the image with Copic markers, I used the coordinating punch cut the cake and plate.  

I used a circle die cut on vellum to create the cake background and a border punch by Stampin' Up! to go under the red ribbon.  The papers are from my stash. Note: the vellum has a yellow tinge in the photo, but it's not in real life!

"L" Challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge!

Give us a LAUGH or LESS is more, that's our Challenge for the next two weeks!

We have a fab sponsor for this challenge, Saturated Canary.  Kirsta is graciously offering the winner 2 digi stamps of their choice!

For my card I chose to work with "Spritz".  I colored him up with my copic markers, added a bit of glossy accents on the candy cane and bell then traced the outline of the wings with my sparkle spica pen.  As an overall, I sprayed the image with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz and doily with the same plus Bahama Blue Fireworks spray.  The papers are from the Snow Day collection by PinkPaislee and the fabric brads and lace are from my stash.  The sentiment is from TLC Creations.

Valentine Color Challenge at Stamptacular Sunday!

“Valentine COLOR Challenge!”

For this weeks challenge you will create a card or project using ONLY the colors above for someone you love! Of course, you can use white cardstock but please keep it to a minimum! ALSO, your card or project does NOT have to be a Valentine…just has to be for someone you love and uses the required colors!

This is my second attempt with this image. I was having problems getting the shading right on the wings so this time I just added a bit if grey then outlined the grey with my clear glitter spica pen. I loved the simplicity of it so I carried it on with the rest of the image.

I have never made a card like this (vintage-like) because I had no idea where to start. After admiring so many vintage style cards I thought I would start out small with lots of distressing - on the doily, paper and flower (although I think I could have done more distressing around the image itself, next time!).

All and all, I'm happy with the result and I hope you are too!

Now it's your turn to show us your diamonds or pearls. Personally, I favor diamonds but then again, I wouldn't turn down pearls if they were offered instead!

Doilies at Stamptacular Sunday

Our theme at Stamptacular Sunday this week is "Doilies Make The World Go Around"

For my submission I used "Skating Along" by Lili of the Valley.

I used Bahama Blue spritz on the doily and combined glass glitter and dazzling diamonds glitter to use on the fur. And of course, glossy accents on the skates, gloves and leash. I added some felt snowflakes with pink pearls.
