Christmas Night

This month at Winter Wonderland our challenge theme is "Reindeer". We don't have a sponsor for this challenge so this month, it's just for fun!

I decided to use two stamps by Lavinia Stamps, Christmas Night and Christmas Tree Group to create my card.

I started with stamping the trees with Versamark and black embossing powder, then did the same with Santa and his Reindeer and set it with my heat gun.  I started blending with Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Inks with a touch of Wilted Violet for the sky.  

Similar to this card, I used Texture Paste by Ranger with my Snow Flurry stencil by Taylored Expressions to create a winter snowfall.  Finished it off with some ribbon and Shimmer Spray.

Christmas Tree Ornament

 Winter Wonderland is having an Anything Goes challenge for the month of February as a tribute to our former owner and DT coordinator of this challenge blog, Eileen.  

Our sponsor for this special challenge is Fred She Said Designs and they graciously supplied me with this colored image, Coloured Christmas Ornaments.  The collection comes with so many options and colors, the possibilities are endless!  

I decided to go with black background papers to better showcase the lovely ornament.  The papers are from the Farmhouse Christmas by Meredith Cardall and Christmas Delivery paper pack by Carta Bella both purchased from Snap Click.

Working with the digital background papers I created this layout and added a banner and computer generated sentiment.

Gingerbread Greetings

 Happy New Year to all! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and fun ringing in 2021!

Winter Wonderland has a new challenge to celebrate the new year and our theme is Sweet Treats. To help us celebrate our challenge, our wonderful sponsor Twinkle Lane Designs provided us with some sweet images to play with.

This image is Gingerbread Treat. and I used Copic markers to color the image to match the background digital papers.

After coloring the image I added some sparkly stickles to the snowflake and the sentiments are from the Festive Ticker Tape Wording collection by Creative Expressions.  The background papers are by Milachi Designs.

Dual Challenge at Winter Wonderland

Dual Challenge at Winter Wonderland you say ... what does that mean??  It means you have a choice between two Sketches plus the addition of Embossing (dry or wet) on your creation!

Our fun and fab sponsor is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps!  Meet Christmas Chris, he's really loving that "Figgy Pudding".  Actually, I don't know if that's what he's eating, its the only Christmas dessert I can think of!!

I decide on the first sketch to create this card.  I used the Print & Cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to cut around the image, then colored  Chris with Copic markers and added some glossy accents to the icing of the pudding ball and the sentiment is embossed with black embossing powder.

I would like to redo this card, making Chris a bit larger to take up more space on the card, or maybe just use a smaller square!
