Have a very mice BIRTHDAY

Lots of Layers is the theme for our new challenge at Creative Knockouts!

We have a fabulous sponsor so make sure to upload your creation for your chance to win a special prize from a NEW sponsor, Streamside Studios!  If you haven't checked the store out yet, make sure you do - so many adorable and fun images to choose from!

The images and sentiment are from the Mice at Play collection. I used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the images although  I was having issues with the blade not cutting thru the paper on the mice so I had to do a bit of fussy cutting (which I really don't like doing).  I used distress inks (Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade) on the block of cheese and Copic markers on the mice.  Added a few touches and lots of foam tape to create the layers.

Make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!

Treat Yourself

Christmas [or not] BINGO Challenges has a new name and a new challenge ready to go for you!

We will feature a new Bingo card for each challenge and while this isn't your typical game of BINGO, you are required to use at least three items in ONE column.

We are a "just for fun" challenge where you will have the chance to proudly display our Winner or Top Pick Badge!

My choice is the "O" column - Layers, Stitching, Twine and Rectangle.

While roaming through Pinterest looking for a design that "spoke" to me, I came across John, Gentleman Crafter's card using Lawn Fawn's Treat Yourself stamp set.  As it so happens, a co-worker is celebrating her birthday this weekend and she LOVES ice cream so my version of John's card was created, I hope you like it!

So glad you stopped by and I look forward to seeing your creation!

Jolly Decorations

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS is the theme for our December challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until January 12th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

I love these little characters, Be Jolly from Create a Smile.  I created the backgrounds using various distress inks, spray of water and finished with sheer shimmer spray.  I colored the images with Copic markers, did some fussy cutting, added twine and applied foam squares to the back then went to work assembling the cards - easy peasy!

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Snowman Hugs

RIBBON or TWINE is the theme for our September challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until October 13th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

I've used this image a number of times, it's just too much fun to color.  This is Snowman Selfie by SheepSki Designs.

I used Copic markers to color the image and then went thru with a white gel pen for some accents.  I wish I could remember the name of the paper but it looks like I used it all for it's nowhere to be found, now that's disappointing!  I added some purple twine at the bottom and the sentiment is from from the Merry Up collection by Penny Black.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Ribbon, Rope, Lace

Welcome back for a new challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls.  This month our theme is Ribbon, Rope or Lace, you get to choose!  Our sponsor for this challenge is StarStampz!

This little guy is Dennis, aptly named if you ask me!  You all remember Dennis the Menace, right or am I dating myself?!

I decided to create an ATC since I didn't realize that I printed the image a bit on the smaller side.  I colored Dennis with Copic markers then framed the image with black cardstock.  I added some twine or rope at the top of the image and stamped the sentiment with Versamark onto black cardstock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and set the heat gun to it.

I think he's pretty darn cute!
