'tis the Season Shaker

Christms Bingo Challenges has a new challenge ready to go for you!

CBC will feature a new Bingo card for each challenge and while this isn't your typical game of BINGO, you are required to use at least three items in ONE column. This challenge will run September 1st through October 15th

We are a "just for fun" challenge where you will have the chance to proudly display our Winner or Top Pick Badge!

The column I chose is "I", Aperture, Distressing Ink (blue snowflake), Shaker, Dots

I used Stitched Snowflake Frame die-cut by Lawn Fawn to created the aperture and the sentiment, Merry Circle Tags by Avery Elle (no longer available) was stamped with Versa Mark then set with silver embossing powder.  The smaller blue snowflake was created using a die cut after I applied Distress Inks to white cardstock.

So glad you stopped by and I look forward to seeing your creation!

Glistening Snowflakes - Heat Embossing

HEAT EMBOSSING is the theme for our June challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until July 11th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

I started by applying Versamark to the snowflake tree stamp from the Glistening Snowflakes collection by Simon Says Stamp then sprinkled with white embossing powder and used my heat gun to set.  I pulled out some Distress Inks, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans and played with the colors until I was happy.  After I watered down some white acrylic paint, I used a toothbrush to add some splatter and once dry I sprayed with Sparkle Shimmer Spray and added a few rhinestones.  I ran the Noel die-cut thru ol' Big Shot several times and glued them together to create some height.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Spots and Snowflakes

Welcome back for our new challenge at Christmas with the Cuties! Our theme for this challenge is Spots and/or Snowflakes.

Our fab sponsor for this challenge is Fred She Said and they have generously donated a $10 gift certificate to their online store.

This sweet little image is Catchin' Fakes. This image brings back so many memories, my boys and I still do that when it snows, sigh....

I think I put too much emphasis on the contrast when I took this pic :)  I used Copic markers to color the image then I laid a snowfall stencil over the image and used distress inks to add the falling snow.  I also added stickles and some sequins over the image snowflakes then distressed the edges of the inner circle.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see your creations soon!

Anything Goes with Optional Snowflake

It's Anything Goes at Creatalicious Challenges and we have a twist for you ... add optional snowflake.  I don't know about your part of the world but in mine, the snowflakes are flying!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles and the lucky winner will receive a £6.75 / US $10 digi voucher!

This cute little image is Invitation, Winnie Winter Celebration.  I colored her up with Copic markers and I hope you can see the "wink" of Stella that I used to add some sparkle.  I also used glossy accents on a few spots to give some dimension.  I changed the balloon flag to read "Happy Birthday", the original image is "You're Invited". I fussy cut the flag and used a foam pop dot to cover the original design.

I cut out the middle circle then used a snowflake embossing folder, it was just too plain without the embossing.  I used foam pop dots on the embossed piece like a peekaboo window to the image.  As a finishing piece, a snowflake.

I look forward to seeing your snowflake creations!  Have fun and stay warm!

Bare Christmas Creations at ABC!

It's challenge time at ABC Christmas Challenge and the letter we're at is "B" ... B for Bare as in Bare Essentials, just something plain and simple!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Care2Stamp and the lucky winner will receive $15 gift code to shop at their store!

So sorry for the poor quality of this photo .. I misplaced my camera for days and finally found it tonight under loads of cardstock only to find the battery was dead.  Everyone it the house is asleep and I have been banished to my son's room to wait for the battery to charge every so slightly ... the lighting is horrid in  his room and this is all I can manage at this late hour!

So ... I used my brand new snowflake & scroll embossing folder with white paper and used my snowflake metal dies to cut out black snowflakes and attached them with black brads.  I added some clear and black rhinestones and finished the card off with some sparkle mist.  The sentiment is by Stampin Up.

Quick and easy peasy ... now it's your turn and I  hope your camera is charged and ready!

Turquoise Winter at Creatalicious!

It's time for January's challenge at Creatalicious Challenges!  Our theme for January is Turquoise Winter.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Paty Greif Digital Stamps!  The winner will receive Applemania Stamps Kit (see below)!

This cute Paty Greif Winter Image 01 was colored with my Copic Markers.  I used patterned paper from the Journey Collection by Authentique for the circles using my Nesties by Stampabilities.  I used my snowflake dies and cut them out using silver paper and used brads to fasten them to the card.  The sentiment is stamped using Silver stamp pad and is difficult to see but it says "You warm my heart" and that is from a stamp set by My Favorite Things.

Now it's your turn to start creating something deliciously turquoise and link it up over at Creatalicious Challenges!

Hello there! I'm Paty Greif and I've been working with digital scrapbook for a long time, but I always loved digi stamps and the beautiful cards made with them. That's why I decided to step into this wonderful world!
You can find my products at my store at DigiScrappersBrasil, everything made with love and care.
