Wintery Penguin Valentine

STENCILS / EMBOSSING FOLDERS is the theme for our February challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until March 12th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

Yes, we are a Christmas challenge and I may have stretched things a bit with my wintery Valentines Day card!
I started with embossing the first layer using Stitched Snowflake Backdrop by Lawn Fawn and used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to create the pinky glow background.  Created some snow drifts, clouds and a skating area with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink - I used the same ink for the sentiment using Scripty Mine and the Winter Penguin stamp by Lawn Fawn.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

Skating by to Say Hello

Anything Goes is the theme to start the New Year off at Creative Knockouts!

Our challenge will run until January 18th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize from our fabulous sponsor Sheepski Designs!

The image I used is Winter Warm-up and I used Copic markers to color her up.  I applied Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops to the trim for a little dimension and sequins here and there for a splash of color.  The papers are from the Feelin' Frosty Collection by Simple Stories and the sentiment comes from the
Nordic Christmas stamp set by Simply Made Crafts that was from Issue 113 of Creative Stamping Magazine.

Make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!
