Peace Bear

Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenges has a brand-new challenge ready for you!

Each challenge, CBC features a fresh Bingo card filled with fun and creative prompts - and while it's not your typical game of BINGO, the rules are simple:

Choose at least three items from ONE column and include them in your project.

This is a just-for-fun challenge, but it's a great way to get inspired - and you could earn a Winner or Top Pick Badge to proudly display on your bog or socials!

For my project, I picked the "B" column, which includes:

  • Christmas - Brown - Plaid - Digital Image

I had so much fun working with these elements - they really pushed my creativity!

The image I used is one I have had for a very long time, anyone remember Stampfairy?! Well, this is Jake and he was colored with Copic markers. The papers I chose to work with are from my stash and I believe the plaid is from Echo Park, the berry background is Hearth & Holiday by Simple Stories.  The sentiment was a die-cut from the Classic Holiday Greetings collection by Concord & 9th.

Visit the Christmas [or not] BINGO Challenges blog to check out the full BINGO card and get inspired by the Design Team's creations. Then it's your turn - we can't wait to see what you make!

Happy crafting!

Monochrome Poinsettias

MONOCHROMATIC is the theme for the October challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until November 7th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

After using the 3D embossing folder, Perfect Poinsettias by Altenew with black cardstock, I applied silver pigment ink with an embossing brush overtop the design.  I used a "Merry" die-cut on silver paper and to create some dimension, I used the die-cut twice more on black cardstock and glued them together. I stamped "Christmas" from Christmas Words by Impression Obsession with black ink on the same silver paper.  To finish it off I added a couple pieces of matte black sequins.

This is such an easy and fast technique and I'm looking forward to trying this out on different colored cardstock and pigment inks.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for
your chance to win!

The Poinsettia

Christmas Craft Creations starts a new challenge today! Our theme for this month is Christmas Flowers.  and our own Shona has graciously donated a special prize of a Recollections Poinsettia Stamp and Die Set.

For our "flower" challenge, I thought this adorable image "The Poinsettia" by Hetty Clare would be perfect.

I used Copic markers to color the image and to keep it simple I added one layer of dark green cardstock to back.  I used a glitter pen to add some sparkle on the flowers and berries.  Looking at it now I'm wondering if I should add a small embellie (or 3) near the top, maybe sequins, tiny diamond gems, pennant - any thoughts?

Well I'm so glad you stopped by and I hope you join us for our Christmas Flower challenge and if you do, remember to add our Challenge Badge (below) to your post for your chance to win!
