October: Halloween and Canadian Thanksgiving

It’s time for a new challenge over at the FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenge!

This fun and creative challenge blog is all about using grocery-themed items in your projects — think produce, pantry staples, baked goods, or anything you’d find at your local market!

The theme for our current challenge is — as always — Anything Food Goes! That means you have the freedom to create with any food-inspired images, elements, or designs your crafty heart desires.

For my projects, I have featured Halloween treats and Thanksgiving Turkey (Canadian Thanksgiving is in October).

I created the shaped card using my Cricut and the stamp sets are by Jaded Blossoms, Clear Jar and Clear Jar Halloween Add-ons.  I had fun coloring the images with bright spooky colors with Copic markers.

This "turkey" image is one I've had for some time, and it always makes me chuckle.  The image is by Digi Doodles (not Digi Doodles Studio) and I believe they are no longer in business. I used copic markers to color the image and the sentiment was computer generated.

I'm so glad you dropped by!

Head over to the FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenge blog to see all the delicious inspiration from our Design Team, and don’t forget to link up your own food-themed creation. We can’t wait to see what you cook up!

Happy crafting!

Thankful, grateful & blessed

We’re back with a brand-new challenge at Creative Knockouts! This time, our theme is Halloween or Fall, and we want to see how you bring the season to life in your crafty creations — whether it’s spooky, cozy, or filled with autumn vibes.

Our amazing sponsor for this challenge is Sheepski Designs, and they're offering a fantastic prize, 3 digital images of your choice - so don't miss your chance to play along!

This fun-loving gnome is "Catching Leaves".  I used Copic markers to color the image and framed it with gold cardstock.  The background was created using a background stamp, heat embossed with gold powder.  The sentiment, also gold embossed is from Inside Out-Fall Thanksgiving stamp set by PhotoPlay.

Be sure you check out the amazing and inspiring creations from our talented Design Teamthen share your masterpiece with us!

Glad Tidings at FQCCC!

FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenge has a brand-new challenge for you to join!

This challenge blog is all about celebrating the cozy, rustic charm of country life during the holidays — think barns, wildlife, snow-covered fields, and all things outdoorsy and festive!

Each challenge is Anything Goes, as long as it captures that country Christmas feel.

We are a just-for-fun challenge, but you could earn our Grand Champion Winner Badge (with a Guest DT invite) or proudly display our Wintery Top 3 Badge on your blog or socials.

I created a shaker card featuring images from Tidings of Great Joy by Pink Fresh Studio. The images are colored with Copic markers, except for the white berries where Nuvo Drops were used and glossy accents was applied to the red/pink berries for some added dimension and shine.

I can’t wait see what you create — and don’t forget to check out the blog for beautiful inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!

Happy crafting!
