Cozy Christmas Fireplace

LOTS OF LAYERS is the theme for our new challenge at Creative Knockouts!

Our challenge will run until DATE so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize from our fabulous sponsor Mirtellamente Digital Stamps!

I loved working with the Christmas Fireplace image, so much so that I created two cards. For my layers I decided to do a lot of fussy cutting (I really don't enjoy this part!) and made layers of the stockings, gifts and candles.  After coloring with Copics and all the fussy cutting, I picked out some "wall" paper, along with "flooring" for the backdrop then went to work with foam dots.

I really love how these cards turned out even though this wasn't my first vision!

Make sure you check out the amazingly creative creations from our Design Team then it's your turn to start creating!

Christmas Stockings at Christmas Cards all year 'Round

December already!? Well, no denying it so let's get on with December's Challenge at CCAY!  Our theme for December is Christmas Stockings.

For my card I used the adorable digi stamp set by From the Heart but unfortunately I don't see it in their shop anymore.  The papaers are from the Merry & Bright Collection by Carta Bella, I love their colors!

I used my copic markers to add some color to the image then some stickles to the stocking and glossy accents to the candy canes.  The stocking embellie is from my stash and thought it quite appropriate for this theme!

S is for Stockings or Sketch

It's time for our "S" Challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge!  Our theme is Stockings or Sketch ... so you have two ways to enter this challenge.  Create something using Christmas Stockings OR find a sketch, use it and share it along with your creation!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Meljen's Designs and the winner will receive 4 digi images of their choice!

For my card I used a stocking image as well as used a sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge.  I colored the image with my Copic markers and added some glossy accents to the candy canes and Lace Stickles to the stocking.

Prize - 4 Images of winners choice.
