Anything Goes @ Creative Knockouts

Challenge time at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Anything Goes and our fab sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy and the lucky winner will receive 3 digis of their choice!

This image is Valentine's Seahorses.  I threw myself off with the colors I chose, the pink threw a wrench in the options of background papers that worked.

I colored the image with Copic markers and used distress spray to give an illusion of being underwater (hee hee).  I'm anxious to use this image again with a different color palette, so many options!

Now it's your turn to start creating.  I hope you are all safe and healthy during this crazy time!

White Christmas Challenge with the Cuties!

Now that Christmas with the Cuties is back in full swing, our March challenge is "White Christmas".  So, so many options here but remember, it must be CUTE!

Our Sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles and the winner will receive a gift voucher to their store!

It was hard choosing which image to use, they are all so darn cute, I narrowed it down to Hollybobs Skater.

I colored her in shades of gray with my Copic markers and added a touch of stickles.  I chose to use silver/gray background paper along with the embossed/sparkly paper to give the illusion of ice.

Layer it Up

Challenge time at Creatalicious!  Our theme is always Anything Goes with Optional "Layers".  Layers are so much fun to play with, options to use different colors and background papers - just let your imagination go!

Our Sponsor for this challenge is Colour of Love and they have graciously offered 3 digis to the winner!

This adorable spring digi is Buttercup's Rain Galoshes.  Living in Vancouver, Canada we see huge amounts of rain throughout fall, winter and spring (which I dislike immensely).  I wanted to make this card cheery even tho it's raining, unlike here when it rains it's gray, gloomy and gross.

I colored the image with Copic markers, as you can see in yellows and reds.  I had perfect matching patterned and solid papers and love how it turned out.  Other than the blue rain, I struggled with the color of her clothes.  I didn't want to throw another color in there so decided gray would have to do.  I couldn't find the right sentiment so I didn't add one - any suggestions??

I hope you all find your rainbow at the end of a rainy day - enjoy and don't forget to link up your entry!

Border Time Challenge at Creative Knockouts!

Show us your Borders!! That's what we want to see on your creation for this challenge at Creative Knockouts!

Our wonderful sponsor is Fred She Said Designs!  So many wonderful images to choose from and the lucky winner will receive at $10 gift certificate to spend in their store!

The image I chose is Catch your Heart.  It comes with with both outline and pre-colored images, as well as sentiments.

I colored the image with Copic Markers and use my oval die cut then used the scallop oval for the border.  Now that I'm looking at it, I think the background paper is too busy.  Guess I'll just have to make another one!

Looking for some inspiration?! Check out the fab creations from our Design Team and leave them some love!

CAS Ho! Ho! Ho!

Christmas at Sweet Stampin' is sadly having their last challenge but don't fret, the DT has decided to set up a new Challenge site to be unveiled shortly!

In the meantime, our last challenge will be Clean and Simple (CAS).  Remember the rules, it must be all about Christmas!

I pulled out this Hero Arts rubber stamp that I literally have had for at least a decade.  I heat embossed the image with black embossing powder and used circle die-cuts to layer.

The background was made by using the Cable Knit embossing folder from Stampin' Up!.  I finished it off with baker's twine and there you have CAS!

What's nice about CAS cards is that they are easy to make in multiples - give it a try and remember link your Christmas creation on our Challenge blog!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blue Christmas at Winter Wonderland

Time for our March challenge at Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog!  Our theme this month is "Blue Christmas" and our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Digi Stamps!

This image is Snowman Winter and taking our theme into consideration, I colored the whole image in shades of blue with my Copic markers.  I added glossy accents and sparkle stickles for added effect.  I finished the design off with baker's twine and matching sequins.

There are so many lovely shades of blue and I look forward to seeing what you create!  Have fun!
