"K" Challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge

It's challenge time at ABC Christmas Challenge!  Our theme for the letter K is "Kept Safe".  I'm sure you are like me and have so many things that I have purchased over time but don't have the heart to use it ... just waiting for that one special card or whatever ... why do we do that?!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Kenny K

This image is Bow by Kenny K.  Now this image is one that I've had for at least a year if not longer... I colored her with my Copic Markers and the paper is from my stash, the title is cut off so I'm not sure where it's from.  So, now for the "K" ... it's the blue tinsel twine from Tim Holtz.  Along with the digi that I've had for at least a year, I've had the tinsel twine for the same amount of time.  It just about killed me to use it ... haa haa, just kidding!

Make sure to head over to ABC Christmas Challenge to look at the fab creations from our talented design team!  Now pull out those items you hold dear to your heart and start using them!

Digi and rubber stamps from KennyK are a fun and edgy way to add the perfect dose of attitude and style to all of your creations! The creator, the artist, the man: Kenny K is a NYC-born professional illustrator who has brought his funky-but-slick, urban-influenced look to the cardmaking and papercrafts world. His signature style can be seen throughout his various collections of sexy pin-up babes, sweet 'n sassy girls, cool rockin' dudes, kid’s stuff, retro characters and more at KennyKDownloads.com.

Dad Challenge at Cards for Men

It's time for Challenge #11 at Cards for Men!  Our theme for this challenge is "Dad".  You have until June 9th to link up your creation for a chance to win 2 digis from our sponsor, Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

I love making guy cards and Dr. Digi's is an awesome place to find guy stuff.  This digi is BBQ Bill and I colored him up with my copic markers.  The black background paper is from my stash and the red paper is BBQ Words by Pebbles Inc.  The hot dog embellie came with the BBQ Words paper pack and I added some twine and a computer generated sentiment.  Voila!

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

Here you will find Monsters, Aliens, Odd balls and Dundertons as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps.   Our artist and founder cut his teeth in the craft world at the company "Just Inklined", where his unique digis made a huge impression.
We're hoping to continue to entertain and amuse, with our growing catalogue of great value digis with
a sense of humour.

Sunshine Day

With all this rain I felt a little sunshine was in order!

This  little ray of sunshine is Rosie from the DigiStamp Boutique.  I colored her up with my Copic markers and decided to make a tag instead of a card.  I distressed the manila tag with distress inks by Tim Holtz (Pumice Stone, Antique Linen and Barn Red). I added the flowers and butterfly from my stash.

I hope this added some brightness to your day!

Jingle time at ABC Christmas Challenge

ABC Christmas Challenge in on the letter J ... well it definitely makes me think of Jingle Bells!  That's right, we want to see bells a jingling!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Wild Orchid Crafts and the winner will receive a £10 gift voucher!

I wanted to keep it simple so I made this card using Stampin Up! stamps and die cuts .  First I embossed the white cardstock with Holly embossing folder, used red and white ribbon for color and added a bell with a copper colored safety pin from a tag off my new jeans.  I stamped the gingerbread image with versa mark then covered it with copper embossing powder then heated it up.

Fancy Folds at Cards for Men

Let's see those folds!  Yup, it's Fancy Fold challenge time at Cards for Men!

We have a fab sponsor for this challenge, Scribbled Kidz and the winner will receive 3 digis of their choice!

I made a gate fold card for this cheeky image "He won't notice". I colored him up with my copics and used some paper from my stash, added some bakers twine then found a naughty/nice button I thought worked perfectly for this image. The inside sentiment is by Stampendous.

Make sure you stop on over to see the creations from our talented Design Team!

Lady Luck Challenge at The Crafting Cafe

It's Lady Luck challenge time at The Crafting Cafe!  We want to see your creations based on your interpretation of Lady Luck!  Our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps!

Sorry the card has a green tinge throughout, I was having issues with my ink spray ... actually it was a huge issue with my ink spray :(

For my interpretation of Lady Luck, I used Margaret for this card and took the word "luck" quite literally.  I colored her up with my copic markers and added some glitter with my spica glitter pens.  The sentiment was from Digi Doodle.  The paper, ribbon, flowers and button is from my stash.

Now it's your turn....I can hardly wait to see what you create!
