Game On at Creative Knockouts

Time for an Anything Goes challenge at Creative Knockouts and our sponsor for this challenge is Di's Digi Stamps.

Hard to believe Summer is coming to an end, although for my video-gaming teen, every day is summer to him!

This is one of my fave images from Mo Manning, it's called Game On and is a spitting image of my son, minus the dirty socks in between the wrappers on the floor.

I colored the image with Copic markers then used dots and stripes background papers to finish it off, simple and masculine.

I'm so glad you stopped in to take a peek and I look forward to seeing what you create for our ATG Challenge!

Challenges

Bring on the Bling

Bring on the Bling - time to make your creations sparkle and shine at Christmas with the Cuties!  We have a fab sponsor for this challenge, DRS Designs and the lucky winner will receive a $20 voucher to their store!

For my bling creation, I used the Heart Swag Snowman image.  I used Copic markers to color the image and added glossy accents to the hearts and over top of the sparkly stickles on the hat.

In keeping with the theme, I used glitter cardstock for the banner, silver string and rhinestones and the background papers are from the Celebrate Winter collection by Echo Park.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Happy 1st Birthday

Creatalicious Challenge time!  Our theme as always is ATG with an optional twist "No Square or Rectangle" Cards. Our sponsor for this challenge is CAS-ual Fridays!!

I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the number one and I'm thrilled how it turned out.  I used yellow card stock for the main card and two layers, one white and the second green with dots.  The image is Duck with Presents from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez which was colored using Copic markers.

I used banner die cuts to create the yellow and purple banner and added some sequence to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping in and I look forward to seeing what shapes you come up with!

Challenges:
Cut it Up - Shaped Card
Cute Card Thursday - Bright Colors #647
Watercooler Wednesday - Occasions #284

Smashing Time at Creative Knockouts

Creative Knockouts has another "smashing" challenge ready for you!  Our theme is "Finish the Inside" with Dr. Digi's House of Stamps sponsoring this challenge!

Meet Pinata-Pedro, he's trying so hard to smash that Pinata!  I used the Print & Cut function on my Silhouette Cameo so I didn't have to fussy cut around the images then colored the images with Copic markers.

I decided to make a shaker card to keep up with the festive colors.  Honestly, I dislike making shaker cards but thought I'd give it one more try - still not a fan - I wish the sequence would stay scattered rather than gather at the bottom until shaken.

For the inside, I decided to add another Pinata and switch to the polka-dot paper to give the illusion of sequence.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I look forward to seeing what you create!

Grouchy Cat

We've officially passed the 6 month mark to Christmas - how can that be??

If you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, our August challenge at Christmas Craft Creations is a great place to start!   Our theme for August is Animals - Christmas themed of course!

(Don't forget to add this badge to you blog when you enter our challenge)

I came across Grouchy Snowman over at CC Designs and I fell in love with it, Grouchy makes me smile!

Not a lot of coloring to be done, the coloring I did do was with Copic markers and added glossy accents for a bit of dimension.  I wasn't sure how to display the image and I figured you can't go wrong with black and red. I found some black and white plaid paper and used a border die to create the red scallops, finished it off with red ribbon.

Now it's your turn to show us your Christmas Animals!!

Dual Challenge at Winter Wonderland

Dual Challenge at Winter Wonderland you say ... what does that mean??  It means you have a choice between two Sketches plus the addition of Embossing (dry or wet) on your creation!

Our fun and fab sponsor is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps!  Meet Christmas Chris, he's really loving that "Figgy Pudding".  Actually, I don't know if that's what he's eating, its the only Christmas dessert I can think of!!
I decide on the first sketch to create this card.  I used the Print & Cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to cut around the image, then colored  Chris with Copic markers and added some glossy accents to the icing of the pudding ball and the sentiment is embossed with black embossing powder.

I would like to redo this card, making Chris a bit larger to take up more space on the card, or maybe just use a smaller square!
