Sketch Challenge at Cards for Men

It's challenge time at Cards for Men and this time it's a Sketch Challenge!

I used this funny little pizza guy from Fresh Brewed Designs.  They have some great fun food images that are fab for kids of all ages!
I colored him up with my Copics and added Glossy Accents on the pepperoni then finished it off with some Baker's Twine and buttons.

So, here's the sketch and information on our amazing sponsor, Letraset.  Now get going on your creation!

Our sponsor for this sketch challenge is Letraset and the winner will receive a pack of 6 Promarkers!

ProMarkers are made by Letraset and are a twin tipped, dye based alcohol marker offering a high quality product at a great price. Avilable in 148 colours, they give incredible tonal range and can be applied to a diverse range of materials, not just paper and card. ProMarkers produce vivid, bright colours right through to the subtlest pastel shades - the translucent inks can also be overlaid and blended, even further extending the range of shades and hues on offer. ProMarker's quality nibs and inks provide flawless colour lay down with consistent coverage and no unsightly streaking.

Something Blue

Weddings have been quite popular this year in our corner of the world and have been asked multiple times to make Wedding cards.  Again, this request came in so I hunkered down and make a few for my coworker to choose from, this was one of them.

What Bride does not say this when she's getting ready!  The sentiment is from the Wedding Day Set by TLC Creations, a fave of mine and I used Fishtail Flag Die-Namics dies for the black and white flags.

In keeping with the theme, I dressed the inside of the card with the same ribbon and flags. I'm not sure where this sentiment came from, it's simple and beautiful.

Orange and Black at Cards for Men

It's time for another Cards for Men challenge and our theme is Orange & Black!

The winner will win four (yes, 4!) digis from our fab sponsor, Kenny K.  I'm sure you're all familiar with the wonderful work of Kenny K's Shop but what about the man (and woman) behind those wonderful creations ... click here to take a look at their journey.

For my card, I could not resist using Jeannie.  I remember watching I Dream of Jeannie when I was young and I loved Barbara Eden!

I colored the image with my Copic Markers and added some glossy accents here and there.  The paper is from The Glowing Collection by Authentique and the rest is from my stash.

Now let's see what you can create using Orange and Black!  Don't forget to check out the fab creations from the Cards for Men Design Team!

Get 'em Squished

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the USA and I made this card in hopes to spread awareness all over the World, not just in October.

The image and bottom sentiment is from Whimsie Doodles and is one of my faves, brings a smile to  my face everytime!

The paper collection is by Theresa Collins and I colored the image with my Copic Markers.  I added some stitching and some rhinestones to bling it up and the rest is from the craft stash.

Sorry for the quality of the pic, I'm trying to find the perfect lighting/colors .. one day I might get it right!

This here is Frank by Mo Manning, I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him!

I colored him with my Copics and distressed the edges with Concord Grape Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.  The skull paper, ribbon and wicked tag is from my stash and I used googlie eyes for my embellies. The border was make with my 1/2" circle punch by Stampin Up and I followed the sketch from the Sweet Spot to give me some inspiration.

Now it's your turn, I can hardly wait to see your creation!
