I is for Inspiration at ABC Christmas Challenge

It's challenge time at ABC Christmas Challenge and our theme is "I for Inspiration".  Take a look at the end of this post and check out our inspiration photo, take your pick and start creating!

We have two sponsors for this challenge, Meljen's Designs and The Ribbon Reel!

This image is Buddy the Fox "Christmas Buddy" by Meljens.  He does have a set of crazy eyebrows but when I cut the image I had to ditch the brows.  I chose the blue and silver inspiration and thought the paper from the Paper Powder Mountain Collection by Bo Bunny worked well. The layout is from the Merry Monday Challenge.

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical rubber and digital images inspired by her kids and family. Meljen's Designs has a new challenge every Thursday, and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the adorable line of Meljen's Designs stamps at our store HERE to browse all of Melissa's lovely designs! You can also see Melissa's exclusive rubber stamps at her corner of Whimsy Stamps, too! H is for Helpers at ABC Christmas Challenge

One can't have too many Helpers at Christmas time!  Yup, that's the "H" word for our challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge.

Our sponsor is Stamp and Create and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to their store!

I have had this image for-like-EVER and this is my first time using it.  The image is North Pole Employees by Mo Manning.  I colored it up with my Copic markers, added Glossy accents to the blue bauble and added Lace Stickles to the "fur" parts.

I added a snowflake charm to the white Baker's Twine and used paper from the Mistletoe Collection by Bo Bunny.

Anything Goes at Cards for Men 1

It's time for an "Anything Goes" challenge at Cards for Men!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Squidgi Digi, the winner will receive 4 digi's of their choice!

For my card I chose Docs to work with.  Although my Docs are black, I decided to color them like workboots and make this into a Father's Day card.

I didn't do anything fancy, just kept it simple.  I colored the image with my Copic markers and framed the image with some colored cardstock and added a bit of ribbon in the middle.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Hi my name is Beth, I am 19 years old and am studying a Degree in illustration at Blackpool University.

I started drawing images for my Mum , who made cards with them and then she put them on her blog . She got lots of great comments and people saying i should sell them - so here we are !
I hope you enjoy my images and would love to see any creations you make with them

Let's Celebrate Challenge

It's time to "Celebrate" at The Crafting Cafe.  There are so many reasons to celebrate and we want to see yours!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Crafty Sentiments Designs.  The winner will receive 3 digis or 1 stamp, the winner's choice!

This sweet little digi is Lilly.  I had fun coloring her with my Copic markers to match the bright papers from the Surprise! Collection by Bo Bunny.  I added some glossy accents to the flowers for some dimension, strung up some red and yellow ribbon and for some fun, pom poms.

I followed the layout from a very talented lady that I had the pleasure of working with on my very first design team.  Check out Lynn's creation at Creative Crafts by Lynn, it's adorable!

The sentiment, both outside and inside is from Paper Smooches.

Now it's your turn to link your creation up at The Crafting Cafe!

Gingerbread Goodness

It's time for the letter "G" at ABC Christmas Challenge!  Our challenge theme for this challenge is "Girl or Guy" creations, easy peasy.

Our sponsor is none other than Bugaboo Stamps.  The winner will receive 7 digis of their choice!

This was pretty quick and easy to put together - exactly my type of card!

I colored Kitchen Ginger Spoon with my Copic markers and added glossy accents to a few spots and used Frosted Lace Stickles on the frosting.  The paper is from the Mistletoe Collection by Bo Bunny and I added some ribbon as a border between the two papers.

The tag was created by using a tag punch by Creative Memories.  The sentiment is from the Remarkable Wreath stamp set by Close to My Heart.

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge,Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. TodayBugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! April Fool's Challenge

Wow, April already!  To celebrate, Cards for Men's theme for their first April Challenge is "April Fool's", very fitting!

Our sponsor is for this challenge is Letraset. The winner of this challenge will win a 6-pack of Flexmarkers!

April Fools, yes I fondly remember my son putting ketchup packages underneath the toilet seat ... I don't think I've seen my husband and sons laugh so hard, admittedly, it was really funny!  I'm not sure what they have in store for me today ...

I have had this image from Sassy Cheryl's for a long time and have never used it ... pity really.  This image is called April Fools and unfortunately does not seem to be available any longer.

I colored him up with my Copic markers and added glossy accents to the bells and a few other spots.  I did a bit of paper piercing around the image and used my Spellbinders for the scallop square and pennants.  I used some orange baker's twine for the banner and as an afterthought, I added some bells.  The circle sentiment was a freebie from Articrafts by Rebecca and the birthday sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
