Fall

It's challenge time over at Digi Haven!  Our theme for this challenge is "Fall" as in Autumn not as in trip and fall!  Our sponsor for this challenge is Floppy Latte and the winner will receive a $6 gift certificate to their store!

This is the first time I have used my pinwheel die and have to say I quite like it!  The paper is Harvest Lane by Simple Stories and the Peace sentiment is from Floppe Latte.  I think next time I will use different papers to show a bit more contract between the background and pinwheel.

This ol' Truck

For my card I used Toy Truck by Floppe Latte. This image reminds me of an old photo of my dad when he was a boy, riding in his dad's truck.  I love that photo!

I added some distressing ink around the image and paper edges, string from my stash, I used my tag punch by Creative Memories and the "just 4 you" is by Stampin Up!

I'm excited to announce that this is my first entry as a new member of the Digi Haven Design Team!  Make sure to visit their blog and be prepared to have some fun!

"Flowers" is the theme of our challenge and our sponsor is Floppy Latte's Digital Designs.  The winner will receive a $6 gift certificate!

This image is Floral Corner Arrangement I and can be found here.  I colored the image with my copic markers, I decided to use the purple and green combo (one of my faves).  I embossed the background with a Sizzix embossing folder and framed it, and the image with purple.  Added a ribbon from my stash and the sentiment is digital but unfortunately I'm not sure where it came from.

"Use Your Scraps" Challenge

It's time to ring in the New Year with Aud Sentiments first challenge of 2012! This challenge is sponsored by Floppy Latte Designs. We are also very lucky to have another sentiment from Create with TLC. Remember if you use this sentiment for the challenge be sure to enter your name with Mr. Linky twice for the drawing! Just right click the image to save it. You have until January 17th to enter. When I see the word crown, I think of princess which in turn makes me think of pink! So I looked through my huge collection of patterned paper, that for some reason keeps growing because I'm afraid to use them and found the perfect match! I rummaged around in my ribbon-ends bin and found the perfect pink and orange combo. I used colored scraps for the layers and added the princess charm and message bottle. Now it's your turn to create something with all those scraps laying around your craft room. Check out the amazing creations our design team has for you, some of them will blow you away!
