My Dad is a Hero

Hopefully y'all will have some energy left after our last anything goes challenge!  There were so many amazingly creative projects, well done ladies!

Our next challenge at Aud Sentiments is "Fathers".   You must use a form of the word Dad in your sentiment, such as Dad, Daddy, Father, Papa, etc.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Ellaphantastic

Ellephantastic is very honoured to sponsor this challenge.  Hi I am Helen.  I suffer with CFS/ME & found a few years ago I could no longer work due to my illness.  To give myself something to do (when feeling well) I decided to go back to my roots ... crafting!  I grew up drawing, knitting & 'Cutting & Sticking'  Now I like to do all kinds of paper crafting, card making, altered art, knitting & sewing.  I also design & draw my own digital art.  My fun hobby has unintentionally grown into a li'l crafty business for me which I am loving.  There is nothing I like better than to put a smile on someone's face because of my crafting :0) You can order & buy a lot of my work from my shop.  You can also buy some crafting proucts.

The winner will receive 4 images of their choice!

The image I used is "Super Rog'".  When I saw this image I knew right away I was going to the Super Hero paper from Close to My Heart.  Unfortunately I really didn't use the paper to its full potential!

I used my Copic Markers on the image and Nestabilities to cut out the circles.  I added some ribbon and cord as well as white iRock gems.

Since my bro's name is Roger I think I'll use the same image and try my hand at using the Super Hero paper again on his birthday card!

On a personal note, this is my last submission as a member of the Aud Sentiments Design Team.  I've had a great run but need to focus my time an energy on my family.  Motocross season has started so our weekends are spent travelling to races around the central interior of BC and as much as I'd love to, I just can't craft at the track!!

Challenges:

Card Patterns - Sketch 164

  4. Michelle, I'm so sorry I haven't been by your blog lately! For some crazy reason, a bunch of the blogs I was following just went "poof" and they were gone! Thanks for the sweet comment on my card - and now I've found you again - and became a "follower" again - Hope it sticks this time!! Yes!

This is so cute and I love the way you tied the ribbon on here using the eyelets! Precious image and a fantastic card.
