he theme for this week's challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday is “Seeing SPOTS!” Yuppers, we wanna see spots and polka dots!
You will have from now until midnight (EST) January 28th, 2012 to complete this challenge and post a DIRECT LINK to your submission into our InLinkz in order to be entered into the drawing for this week's fabulous prize donated by our very own Winnie!
Last weekend I attended a class at our local craft store, Creative Accents, where we made some feminine projects, and one of them included this cool little purse. I increased the size from 6x6 to 8x8 so I could fit a bit more goodies inside!
I used spellbinders to create the top portion of the purse as well as to create a peek-a-boo window. Note to self, make sure you center the scallops!
I was having a problem with cardstock ripping along the folds so I tried some lightweight scrapbook paper. Next time I have to make sure to use heavier paper on the flap 'cause it's quite flimsy and will probably rip easily if it's opened too much.
The smaller size, 6x6 is the perfect size for a gift card and this 8x8 size holds chocolates quite nicely!

ReplyDeleteWonderful bag/purse gift card holder or chocolate candy holder. You cannot go wrong with chocolate. Not thought to make something like this using Spellbinders and I like the Spellbinders I have. Yesterday at Michaels I found the Spellbinders Heart Circles 50% off that I had been looking for some time. I'm going to try to make one like this. Thanks for entering the Raise the Bar Circles/Rings challenge.
