Say hi to Gruffy Little Gnome by Meljen's Designs. I colored this grumpy little guy with my Copic markers and used distressed ink pad to color the wooden snowflakes.  I haven't used banners in a while so I pulled them out and love how they look with the grey and white bakers twine.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

This cute porcupine digi is from the Woodland Animal Collection by MyGrafico and the sentiment is computer generated.  I did some embossing then layered it with papers from the Blissful collection by Authentique ... added some twine and buttons and there you go!

This digi is Fat Birdie by Cedar Chest Designs.  I kinda stretched it a bit on the colors but I wanted something vibrant.  I added some glossy accents to her eyelids, beak and nails and sprayed some pewter mist over the image.  Since she is a bird, I thought some feathers were in order.  The feathers alone just didn't look right so I added a few flowers...just what was needed.

Yikes, no embellies?!  You read correctly all right ... at ABC Christmas Challenge we want to see your Christmas creation minus any and all embellies!

I used Santa Chimney by StampFairy for this challenge. I colored him with my copic markers then carefully cut him out.  The sentiment is computer generated and the banners were cut with Die-namics Fishtail Flags by My Favorite Place and the papers are from the Mistletoe Collection by Bo Bunny and Dots & Stripes by Echo Park.

I can't help it, the sentiment cracks me up!  I had fun putting this card together and it took no time at all ... I think I'll be making more of these!

Summer's Here at The Crafting Cafe!

It's time for our July challenge at The Crafting Cafe!  Our theme this month is  "Summer's Here!"  I don't know about you but from where I'm from, summer is definitely welcome with open arms!

This digi is Summer Sun Ellen by our sponsor LEJ Designs.  I colored her with my copic markers and decided since she had such a nice tan that a red suit would look quite nice against this paper!  I  added some craft canvas from and found some chipboard cutouts in my stash. The paper is Beach House from the Summer Soiree Collection by Fancy Pants Designs.

Bingo Challenge at Cards for Men

It's a Bingo Challenge at Cards for Men!  Our sponsor for this challenge is Carole Bryson, an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

This here is Bob from Fresh Brewed Designs.  The first time I saw him I knew he was going to become part of my digi collection.  I colored him up with my copic markers, as you can see by his tan, he doesn't get out much!  It's been a while but I hauled out my sewing machine and did a bit of stitching then tried out some washi tape for the border.  This was my first time using the tape and I'm not sure why I waited so long, it's sooo cool to use!  The papaers are by Cosmo Cricket.

Red, White and Blue at Digi Haven

It's time for our Red, White and Blue challenge at Digi Haven!  You will have until July 19th to show us your creations!

 

This image is Grad Girl by Saturated Canary. I colored her up with my copic markers and added some glossy accents to her lips.  I really didn't know what kind of design I was going to do and just started cutting...I love when things just come together.  I added some ribbon and flowers then found this key embellie that I thought would work perfectly.  The paper is from the Simple Stores collection by 24/Seven.  I'm not sure where the sentiment originated from, I found it on Pinterest.

It's all about Santa Challenge

I'm excited to announce that I am a new member of the Christmas Cards All Year 'Round Design Team! 

The theme for this month's challenge is "It's all about Santa".   That means we want to see anything that is associated with Santa like sleighs, elves, reindeer, etc.

For my card I used this adorable stamp that I've had in my collection for over a year and have never used.  I love the expression on her face and the sentiment that goes along with it!   The image is Amanda saw Santa Clause and sentiment stamps are from Eat Cake Graphics.   The paper is from the Merry & Bright collection by Carta Bella.
