I'm chose to work with Wilson Digital Stamp Set.  The expressions on their faces makes me laugh and thought it would be a perfect "age" birthday card.

I colored this crazy trio with my copic markers and used some banner die-cuts to add to the top of the card.  This image is perfect to make those quick and easy cards to keep on hand and the color combos are endless!

I chose to work with Holly Jolly Horace for this challenge.  He's jolly alright!  I colored Horace with my copic markers, making sure to fill his mug with "beer"... maybe that will put him in the Christmas spirit!  The sentiment is from Christmas Words by Dylusions.

This image is Christmas Portrait, it's she beautiful!

I chose to color her in non-traditional Christmas colors, matching the papers "Frosty Friends" by Dooglebug Designs.  In keeping with our optional snowflakes, I used metal dies on glitter paper to make the snowflakes and of course, there are snowflakes on the paper.  I added a bit of sparkle with my spica pens and the sentiment is Tidings of Comfort and Joy by TLC Creations.

Christmas Delight Challenge at Creative Knockouts!

I chose to work Christmas Treats with for this challenge (unfortunately, I believe this image has been discontinued as I wasn't able to find it in Di's store). 

I colored this adorable image with Copic markers, working with the colors in the Celebrate Winter paper pad by Echo Park.  The believe sentiment is a clear stamp by Paper Smooches.  I added a stripe of ribbon and a few pieces of sequence to finish it off.

Winter Mouse

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Snow Much Fun.

I chose to work with Happy Mouse for this challenge.  To make him a bit more festive, I added Santa's hat to keep his head warm.  I used a snowflake embossing folder for the background, adding the "snow" element to my card.  Attached a few embellies and a wonder tag to finish it off.

Layer it up at Creatalicous Challenges

It's challenge time over at Creatalicious Challenges - Anything Goes and here's the twist ... we want you to "Layer it Up".

This darling image is Betta Fish Crowntail.  I colored her up with copic markers and added some sparkle with my spica markers and used a white gel pen for some added detail.  To add a bit of bling, I used purple glitter paper to layer the image, added an purple embossed layer with additional layers of turquoise.

Espresso Yourself with Border Time

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Border Time.

I chose to work with Espresso Yourself for this challenge.  What I love about this digi set is it's quick and easy to use, great for making a few cards at a time.  For my border I used two tag die cuts together to create the border in the middle.  I added some red twine to match the cup, easy peasy!

HD in da Hood at Creative Knockouts

Other than a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts, I'm super excited that I have been invited to join their design team!  I look forward to new challenges with this team and hope to see many of you playing along!

Our challenge theme is Embossing Delight (dry or wet).This is a great way to add some dimension and depth to your creations. Our sponsor is Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the winner of this challenge will win a $6 voucher.

I chose to work with "HD in da Hood" from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and have to admit his jumpsuit "cracks" me up.  Thanks to Jennifer Dove at Just4Fun Crafts I came across this image and had to have it.  Her coloring amazes me so I tried to follow her techniques on the wall ... I need practice! I used an embossing folder for the footprint background with some Black Soot Distress Ink and glitter spray.

Spooktacular Creatalicious Challenges #149

I love Halloween and was so excited our challenge at Creatalicious Challenges is Anything Goes with optional PURPLE - now if that doesn't scream Halloween!!!  Of course, you do not have to create a Halloween card, anything purple will do!

I used my copic markers, along with glossy accents and stickles on the image (unfortunately I cannot remember where I purchased this image so I'm unable to direct you there) and the sentiment is computer generated.

Working with polka-dots always makes me smile and as you can see from this image, it's full of smiles!

This image is called Smiles and was from Cre8tive Hands.  I colored the image with copic markers and added glossy accent to the teeth.  I used by Banner diecut, added some twine and a thank you stamp and voila!

I hope this card brings a smile to your face and puts a little bit of happiness in your day!
