Dudeville Holla Scavenger Crawl + Candy

YeHaw!! The First Annual Dudeville Holla Scavenger Crawl celebrating the Dude Time Doodles 1st birthday is finally here!
We have planned a special circle crawl for this fine event so all you gotta do is visit each Dudette, along with our special guests and check out their fine work. As an added bonus, several Dudettes and guests are giving away candy!! If you've arrived here from Anne's blog, you're on the right track.
To win, a $20 gift certificate to DTD, all you have to do is find all the items on the scavenger list throughout the crawl. To get the scavenger list, head on over to Dude Time Doodles - each item is with a specific Dudette or special guest and it's something our dude's can't live without (or maybe they can but we won't let them!), then email your answers to cmm5569@yahoo.com.
The winner will be announced on the evening of September 6th - that gives everyone two weeks to participate.
As an added bonus, I will be giving away a $10 gift certificate to Dude Time Doodles to one lucky follower. Details on how to enter is at the end of this post.
Since ya'll are hunting for things our Dude's can't live without, I decided to create something for my dude to show him how much I appreciate all he does: yard work like Leif Blower, Mr. Fix it stuff like Ernie Carpenter and of course, unplugging those toilets as well as Pete Plumber!

Now git goin' and finish your crawl ...your next stop is Lynn's creation. If you get sidetracked along the way just follow the list:

FREEBIE and a Challenge

It's freebie time at Dude Time Doodles ! Not only do you get to download Gavin Ghost for FREE you will also have a chance to become a Guest Designer for a month. For all the details on how to enter, skip on over to Dude Time Doodles and while you're there, check out the Dudette Design Team for their creations. For this card I dug out my Happy Hauntings cartridge, popped it into my Cricut and away I went.
I figure he's a chain rattler from way back so I thought he'd feel at home if I added a link or two to the card. I used my i-rock from Imagineisce to add some black rhinestones, glossy accents to his chains and stuck a bat a memo pin by Tim Holtz and of course, had to add something else green to go with the lettering ... hence the bow. The orange paper is from Ravenhead Manor by Recollections and the rest are scraps from my stash.
I will be entering this card into the following challenge:
Craft Your Passions "Fave Season"
AiFactory Challenge "Anything Goes"
Ribbon Carousel "Get Edgy"
Inspire Me Fridays #18

Good ol' Fanny

Fanny Fart is only one of the amazing digi's and sentiments by Marlene at Disguised as a Grownup. I was asked by a coworker to make a funny birthday card for her friend and of course I head right for Marlene's images! Fanny is available over at Dude Time Doodles.
I used my copic markers and as well, added some sparkle with my spica markers on her eyeshadow, earrings and lips. Unfortunately it's hard to see that in this pic :(
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
The ABC Challenge "A is for Auburn"
Graphicat Designs "Sketch"

Special Delivery

This "Special Delivery" image is from Digi Doodle Shop, and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.
I love it for it's simplicity so I decided it needed a simple but effective background. I chose my fave color PINK and dressed it up with grey and black. I added glossy accents to the cupcake and colored the candle flame with my spica glitter pen. I couldn't find any chipboard numbers in my stash collection so I took some Tim Holtz grunge paper and cut out the number 4. I colored it with my cat eye stamp pad and added some glitter.
I apologize for the poor camera quality - we are fighting at the moment and I think the camera is winning.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passions "Anything Goes"
Scrap-Creations "Buttons or Bows"
Party Time Tuesday "It's all about Birthdays"
Stamp Insanity "Fave Color"
Birthday Sundaes "Cakes & Cupcakes"
Pixie Dust Challenge "Fave Color"

Since I can only dream of hot weather this summer, I used Waylon Waves from Bonibleaux Designs. Who doesn't love tanned, blonde haired, blue eyed dudes anyways. If this is the only way a girl can get hot this summer then Waylon's your man ... woo hoo!

Sorry for the poor quality of pic, I'm having some issues with my camera, grrr. I used my spica glitter pens to add a bit of bling to the outside waves and flowers on his shorts. I also used glossy accents on the inside waves for a bit of dimension. The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle, Boardwalk collection.
